The Craftsman 2000 Series 41 inch wide, 10 drawer rolling tool box is an excellent addition to my garage, and anyone that's a 'weekend warrior / Sunday mechanic' type. This is a Craftsman made by Stanley Black & Decker tool box that I picked up from Lowe's for around $350 on sale. I'm happy with the overall box, and want to share the details with you as well.

I have this one with a 51 inch top which has wheels that i added so i can remove it and roll it around.they overhang on sides. Good box.

im there with you on craftsman havent had issues with the older or newer stuff.just found the 41in top and bottom slightly used for 300 just need liners which lead me to your videos.good job with them so far

It’s nice don’t worry about what others thing had mine 30 years been fine but feel Screwed over by the craftsman brand that I bought my whole life so I’m going a different route just glad you’re happy with yours

Nice review, thanks so much. I've been pretty happy with Craftsman even after the company shift, given the weekend warrior type work I do too. Looking at this specific model after buying the smaller topper as a stationary shelf box.

I have the older Craftsman griplatch 14 drawer and the resale value on offerup and are selling for 1000 and sells fast I recommend the v series Craftsman tool box u can buy and sell for more instantly

I was wondering with all your new tools when you would be getting a new tool box .That deep drawer works good for your jacks, keeping everything together .Those liners will be nice to help keep tools in place and keep from scratching up the drawer. Sounds like you got a good deal. .

I never knew that these large tool boxes have a load limit, but that makes sense. What is “ static “ load? Is that when it does not roll around? That doesn’t make sense to me. I like the slow close drawers. Congratulations on the great deal!

The static load is what the bearing on the drawers can handle when fully opened and extended. This from what I understand helps explain how much can be added before the bearings give out or the toolbox would topple over if all the drawers are opened. Basically the heavier duty tool boxes made with a higher gauge steel will have a higher load rating, but also cost more. Thanks for watching!

Thank you for the update. People will argue with me on this, but in today's pricing, I think this box is a worthy investment at that price. Others will say US General or something else, but I find this to be a great tool box from Craftsman. Hopefully you can get it in sale and get it closer to $389-$425.

I have mine mounted in my service van.. I’m having to replace bearings and the mechanism on two drawers. They are not made ford tough 😢

I have the top and bottom 14 drawer grip latch Craftsman I went on offer up and put free tools and this lady gave it to me free full to the brim the top didn't even close all made in USA with every socket Craftsman makes and every wrench ratchet crow feet all the screw drivers 50 made in usa tools im still trying to figer wat there for i think he cheted on her and gave all his tolls away 😂

I just measured it now - it's 41" box only without the handle. With handle it's roughly 44" wide.

If I was a professional and it was my career, I'd not have any issue with Snap-on. It certainly is a huge premium, but they do have good stuff. This Craftsman box for the everyday use though is really, really nice.
