Craftsman T100 riding mower, i did a few mods

my wife got me a new riding mower, i love it, i went over it and found a few things i wanted to change.

When the deck belt is disengaged it rubs the inside of the spendal guards. The guards also serve to keep the belt from falling off the pullys when the blades are disengaged. Nothing to be concerned about.

Good tips. I also immediately noticed the tie strap around the fuel tank deal…wth?? Tie straps get brittle over time especially in a hot area like that. I don’t like the speed switch for transmission…my old Craftsman had a throttle lever much better. Engaging the clutch/brake to change speed…that engineer needs to be fired. The electronic reverse module…I see future problems there. If it breaks you can’t reverse. Thanks Bro 👍🏼

The drain hose extension works better than the drain trough. Ebay has them as low as $12.00 shipped.

Where did you put the washers dude? All I saw was your head while you were kneeling beside the mower. Get someone that can help you video.

You seem knowledgeable. Do you know how to adjust the pitch of the front wheels. I just bought this rider and the wheels are pitched about 20deg

the belt rubs slightly on the guides around the crank pulley....I have the same tractor and on my second season with it and the belt still looks brand new....you should be fine.

he put them on the rear rods that hold the mower deck up.

there is enough room for 2 washers on each arm that connects to the mower deck, one on the inside, then one on the out side and you still have room to place in the locking pins, in the video i did one washer on each arm, since then i have done 2 washers on each arm and it really stiffened up, i have to make a new video.

nothing wrong with this mower...I have the same one....works great...the only "mod" I did was add a fuel shut off valve and a deck wash port.
