I think I would have cleaned it up and greased it good reassembled it and never taken it apart again...

Yep, I agree. They are normally quite difficult to work on, but, if the viewer wants to see what is going on, I have to go back in!

Indeed, however, it is not. This "Craftsman" iteration was a rebranded Vlchek ratchet. Unfortunately, it was the only ratchet Vlchek produced.
