Great vid! I'd love to own that style of Craftsman rachet. I was raised on my dad's older craftsman tools. Still love them! Where their made doesn't matter much to me.

Thank for sharing your sentiments about your father. That is how many young men and women get started, through shared experiences with their parents! You may want to reconsider your position regarding country of origin. Even at top of the social, economic, or academic class, if you don't have individuals around you that can afford to be your patrons, you too shall share their fate. A country with a healthy economy can and should produce for itself first.

However, I want to know what you say to those people who say "The US has transformed into a service economy and although the manufacturing jobs have, by and large left they have been replaced with higher paying jobs of the service variety." What do you say to that?

I think this was the first time Craftsman offered full polish ratchets, a move no doubt done to complement the full polish wrenches that came out a year or two before. Do you know who was the OEM?
