Since we are under mandatory house arrest due to the covid virus, I have made this mandatory curriculum for my 6 year old grand daughter. She has to watch Grandpa Amu videos & then make something from materials she can find in the recycle bin, kitchen drawers, the yard & art project shelves. Nothing like this being taught in our schools, she's thriving!

@juveman123 Carry on juveman123. Carry on :) I don't know how you consider me telling this man that he is a Fantastic craftsman, is me bragging, lol.
@anthonyjudd2313 жыл бұрын
@juveman123 you think using a CNC machine is bragging? Lmao I feel bad for you...
@Lori_L3 жыл бұрын
@juveman123 he wasn't bragging. Quite the opposite
@Lori_L3 жыл бұрын
@juveman123 here's something to consider (or not)... just because that is how you understood his intent, does that make it true? It is also possible that he is giving context to his compliment - that he understands the work that is involved at a more complex level than the casual viewer. That doesn't degrade the casual viewer but rather elevates the person being complimented ( which is the opposite way of how you understand it). In a sense it is all supposition because only the author knows his true intent. It also shows that I have spent too much time on this issue and don't care to engage in debate anymore. What I said is only something to consider if you choose. I hope that you have a good day
@Lori_L3 жыл бұрын
@juveman123 - one does not have more value than the other. They are just different. The same is true for people. We all need each other and that's why the world would be better if we viewed each other as different but still important. A society needs leaders and workers. One without the other leads to failure. Each is vital. Going back to the original issue, I try my best not to judge other people's intentions. I'm not a mind reader and life is too precious for me to waste it arguing about somebody's motives. I try not to make assumptions about people. it is perfectly okay for us to disagree with whether or not the man's comment was born of ego. I still hope you have a good day

That's amazing . To see his craftsmanship and to see how he takes a piece of wood and turns it into those works of art. Truly incredible to see how much can be done without all the modern tools that creates wonderful things. Just amazing. Teach youngsters how to make those and continue the knowledge.
