Hey everyone welcome back to my channel I hope your all well
After receiving a wonderful gift box from ‪@craftelieronlinestore‬ i couldn't wait to make a project using everything
I did get the option of what I'd like to be gifted and when I saw this Polaroid Tag die set I knew it would be so much fun
I also do a little painting with the new watercolour pencils and I also used crackle paint for a cool realistic technique

I’m so happy that someone else gets as excited about paper butterflies and specimen cards as I do… I have released two videos this week on the same type of thing…however, my butterflies have antennae and feet… their intestines don’t show…🤣🤣🤣 Hugs❤

Ooooh - the butterflies are lovely! The way the curl and ruffle happens reminds me of old school Prima flowers. Imagine the possibilities... Great tags - so many ideas in one little project. I love how you add as many little details as you can - lots of eye candy in one project. So - TH watercolor pencils get the Toni seal of approval? I might add them to my wish list...but I think I probably have enough in my stash to make it work without adding more. As you know - Caran d'Ache neocolors last forever... Thabks for sharing how the new goodies are working in your projects. Everybody loves a good haul - but I love seeing people use them even more.

Oh my yes I love the old school prima flowers intact I love everything about old school prima there paper pad were beautiful I still hoard them 🫣😂😂 and you could absolutely don't thus with other watercolours I love carandache neo's so pigmented I use them all the time in my art journaling and thank you sweetheart ♥️

You made your butterfly “so purdy,” Toni. You’ve got some fun new toys to play with. Your specimen tag turned out wonderfully well. If we didn’t live across the pond from one another, I’d see if I could come over and play. Heck, I’d even take you out for lunch and dinner! I bought some floral stamens on Amazon and use them for butterfly antennae.

Those specimen tags are totaly gorgeous!!! I have some dies from LoraBailora but somehow missed this label one 🙈. I have the dies for Tim's Flutterby's stamps but they must been older then those of the bugs because it doesn't cut out the antenna. I still need to use those tho.

I'm pretty sure I have the due set too but sometimes it's just easier to cut them by hand lol and thank you so much ☺️

@@CraftybyToni, for me diecutting are most of the times easier but I have muscle problems and fussy cutting can be painfull. It is something you do at some afternoon and stamp and diecut a bunch so you have a stack of them ready to color when you need them. The moths are still on my wish list.

Loved it. So many tips for using my tim holtz stash especially. The butterfly just wow. His pencils are brilliant but to put the crackle over the top, I'd never thought of that. X

It's almost like the pencils are oxide when they dry they have a chalky finish but as soon as you put crackle paint over the top it brings them to life ☺️ thank you so much for watching lovely 🥰

Brilliant! Love them both! Thank you so much for showing the whole colouring process, I sometimes struggle with getting it right so I appreciate the time you took to show us. Those distress watercolours seem to work in a similar way to Inktense pencils which I love, must put them on my wish list. Thanks again for sharing xx
