Such a cute idea! You mentioned handles. One way I’ve done them is after constructing basket I sew on a cute button on each side where the seams are near the top and then make a handle with button holes on each end and attach or remove it so it’s not in way. Also enjoy the Alaska cruise! We go yearly (we live 30 min from Seattle cruise port) so it’s convenient. You will love it!!!!!!! Love your videos!

I wish I had this idea when my parents were alive. My dad and mom moved in with me 2016 my dad and mom would use Kleenex and I bought a table garbage can that crafters would use I lined it with a plastic grocery bag when it was full I took it out. Put a fresh bag back in my mom loved it because it was soft. I lost my dad in 2020 my mom in 2022 she was 94 my dad was 11 years younger but I think I will make a bunch of these and bring them to the nursing home for the residents. Thank you beautiful lady for the great idea! You are truly amazing and always do stunning work. Hugs and love from your Minnesota friend. I told you that your my friend in the middle of the night while I have to take care of my special needs daughter her birthday is on Wednesday making her 24.

Your basket is so adorable. I just recently decided to purchase a low cost sewing machine, it is a Janome. My Mom was a great seamstress and made décor, curtains, wedding dresses, and most of my childhood clothes. My sister continued with the sewing gene, I did not, lol. This video makes me want to try making a few of these little baskets for my daughter to hold makeup and beauty supplies. They also would be perfect for my son in a dog theme. So many great uses in my craft room as well. Thanks for making it super easy to do, even for a beginner like me.
