Deanna this is beautiful! I just love that paper. I wipe my scissors with rubbing alcohol and it works like a charm. I actually buy the mini medical personnel sized ones at the dollar tree. $1 for 100 individually wrapped wipes. I love them. I also use those to wipe off any adhesive that gets on my work surface, especially the self healing cutting mat. Thank you so much for sharing 🎅❤️

Goo Gone works good. Make sure you wipe the blades good after you remove the stickiness, as goo gone will leave a oily film.

Try non acetone nail polish remover. Put it on a cotton ball and just wipe your scissors. I do that to clean my embroidery hoops. Acetone would eat the plastic. For scissors you could probably use acetone nail polish remover since it’s a metal. I even use it on my needles when they get gummed up while I embroider. Put some fray check on the ends of your elastic so it won’t unravel.

Hi Deanna! Not sure who said what but I use goo gone on mine. Just spray a small drop onto paper towel and then wipe off. Make sure you wipe it off clean so that it doesn’t stay oily. I got my goo gone from dollar tree. Hope that helps.

Hi Deanna Cute notebook! I don’t know who left the comment, but I use alcohol. I keep the little alcohol wipes in my craft room just for this purpose. At the end of my mad crafting sessions I wipe down scissors, tweezers, and my mat with the wipes.

Take rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball or q-tip or a make up sponge and wipe them down depending on how much and how strong the adhesive is will determine how long it takes

WD40 spray will clean and lubricate your scissors Deanna, just make sure you dry them off really well with a soft absorbent cloth/paper towel

I did not make the original comment, but I use alcohol pads - I get at the dollar tree. However, alcohol on a cotton ball works too. If you have “undo” it is a good cleaner for “sticky” on scissors also.
