I keep writing the same thing to many/most journal makers. I have noticed a trend where journal makers rush through their flip-throughs. If a journal is worth watching (and yours certainly are) most viewers would like to see everything in the journal. You showed up relatively few of your tags and journaling cards, which I would very much liked to have seen. Please note that not everyone sees the tutorials where you make these things and so miss out on seeing them. I love tutorials, but I only watch them when I am making those things myself. Please show everything; I feel that I missed seeing so much from your beautiful journal. Thank you for sharing.

So glad. Maybe others will learn about it and one day visit the Bok Tower! It's lovely and serene place with meandering trails leading to the tower set at one of Florida's "highest" elevations. From the trails wandering through a canopy of huge Spanish moss covered live oak trees which opens up to the tower and reflecting pond to views of the rolling orange groves beyond. Forgot to mention the wonderful Art Deco bas reliefs with a tropical them all around the bell tower exterior! I would have included a photo of me there, but don't think it's possible in the comments. (Maybe for the good! 😅) I really enjoy your videos as well as the books you make. I am new to junk journalling and your videos are so instructional as well as inspirational. Thank you for sharing. It is also so lovely of you to use your proceeds to purchase books for your fortunate students! I hope they watch your videos as well! I am helping some young homeschooled students learn to about book and lapbook making for their educational projects! Such a fun way to discover and display their studies! I enjoy making the prototypes for them.

lol! I so get that. Unfortunately, right now we’re low on skilled trades so finding someone who is able to do the work in a timely manner has been a huge challenge. I’d really love to have a completed bathroom before I return to work!

The vintage postcard at near timestamp 13:30 is not Washington DC, but rather the Bok Singing Tower in Lake Wales, Florida. The grounds, the Gardens, the historic Pinehurst Estate on the property, the tower carillon are all worth a visit. I live in Central Florida, so I know it well. The history of the tower is very interesting. A real intrigue for music buffs especially. A special musician comes daily to play the chime bells in a beautiful mini concert about 4pm. Afterwards, he'll come down and answer questions. Just thought you'd enjoy that a bit and pique your interest to learn more about it. Ephemera inspired rabbit trails can be such fun to wander!

The postcard you showed that was a tall narrow building is in Florida and is the Bok Tower near Lake Wales. It is beautiful and on special occasions has a great organ recital heard All over the area.

I totally love pretty much EVERYTHING Cori makes!!! Beautiful journal here! But, where can you purchase straw paper in bulk? And by bulk I mean more than 120 sheets from Rachel at RC??? What would you search for? I have searched straw paper and get actual straws or outrageously priced sheets and a small number of sheets at that on Etsy. Someone PLEASE PLEASE help me!!!

i want to do some dried flowers in celephane. Do you dry your own flowers? If so, what kind? Some looked like Queens Anne's Lace. I am drying some flowers now. Statice and some other blooms. Thanks ~~~love your videos.............

Hello. I generally use whatever I find on hikes, and I try to keep dried baby’s breath on hand as it is super flexible and easy to work with. My method is very basic. I put baking paper n a page in a heavy book, lay some flower stems in, close it and forget about it for a few weeks. I know there are better methods out there, but that’s what works for me 😊

Really really wonderful flip through of your ephemera. Did you use just the ephemera pieces from the kit? And do you print smaller or 2 to a page for the sizing? I have so many questions. I am loving your smaller sized journals

Thank you! I used the digital kits, along with random scraps, but I didn’t necessarily follow the printed items. I just used the papers and images to make a variety of scrap buster items. All things used here were printed at “shrink to fit” and 8 1/2” x 11” page. I hope that helps and thank you!
