My girlfriend won tickets to RNB Vine Days (Melbourne Vineyard) yesterday, ft All Saints, Nelly and Craig, and I honestly haven't listened to this genre of music since 2004, when i first hit clubs up after finishing high school. I thought Craig was just a nostalgia bomb and I was looking forward to going on rewind but hearing him performed surprised the shit out of me. His new material is really good. Like, I actually tried to find the setlist after the show because I wanted to find this track. The dude has still got it, and runs with great producers and collabs. Was a treat to watch him send this out over sunset with a glass of red in my hand. You got yourself a fan, mate. And not just because of your work from 15 years ago. Can't say the same for Nelly though. Dude was 80% backing track and 20% back up vocalist. Lay off the cigars, bro. Sounded like Ja Rule. Not good.
