thats how it is up there, folks. entire families live in those mountain valleys in dozens of homes. been there for decades/generations how tragic that many persons of the same family died in one event. unreal heart wrenching

My grandfather was Samuel Clingman Craig. My mother, Cora Craig, the 7th of 8 children. I grew up in the log cabin that housed her and her siblings as they grew up. .She was born in that cabin. Craigtown folks have been there for more than 80 years. ( I'm 71. When I lived there folks had been there for many years.) so Craigtown is older than some of the younger Craig's are saying.

May this precious family know that their loved ones never experienced the sting of death. For that ‘sting’ was obliterated by Christ. They went to ‘sleep’ as the scriptures say, only to awaken into REAL LIFE UNHINDERED. For death is a passageway we all go through but as the early church fathers & mothers described, it’s like going through the birth canal out of the womb of the physical and into the spirit free from bodily annoyances. May our Sweet Abba allow them to see glimpses of their loved ones as they are more alive now than ever before. 🙏

Yes, sir, it’s going to take time. But why not shorten that time by giving them assistance? Why is it going to other places? Right now, it’s who has cash and who doesn’t. Cash in King. The overwhelming financial toll. How am I going to afford to even bury a family member when I’m surviving each day with no house? And the price gouging that’s going on. How am I going to afford my child’s medicine? It’s been people’s donations of insulin and such that have saved lives already cause Walmart would only sell at full price due to not being able to connect to systems. Yes, sir, a seven year old boy who wasn’t doing good was sent away. That father never asked for anything in his life and he cried when he found them being handed out and the exact one his child took was in that bag. Generators are being sent to people on oxygen, luckily by the hands of those who give. But they can’t afford to go anywhere else but to sit in their rubble. This isn’t like your normal Hurricane. There was only a flash flood warning. No one was prepared in any way. I think there’s a clear disconnect in what’s going on that people think “time” is all that can be given. The government has a duty to its tax paying citizens first. It’s our money we put in the pot. If they’re handing out money, it needs to be to their constituents.

I grew up in Fairview and I went to school with some of the Craig families kids back in the 60s. I don't normally reply to these kinds of comments on YT, but your ignorance is unfathomable. This has nothing to do with politics, this is what the Federal Government does no matter who is in office! I guess you'd be happy if they passed out toilet paper and paper towels like #45 did! Let that sink in a bit... and then get on your knees and pray for this family, pray for your forgiveness, and then get off your butt and do something to help people who are suffering from this storm!

Through all that debris and destruction cause by the mudslide, push by heavy machinary to the side of the road, he finds a Bible thats not even wet and the pages are still readable! (2:18) PRAISE GOD! 😊 In the mist of the worst catastrophic destruction imaginable. God knows how to preserve and protect HIS WORD! PRAISE HIM! 😊
