It’s a very difficult piece very well played and after practicing to get to such a point you deserve a good malt Craig

What a beautiful piece, and very well played too. Albeniz was a master of weaving a beautiful melody in his music. In this case, the most beautiful melody is found in the middle passage when Cordoba changes from D minor to a more major mood and key of course. There are beautiful melodies throughout, but to me that one stands out.

Lovely! Is this Llobet's arrangement?

This is William’s arrangement with some elements borrowed from Bream but the (usually) rasgueado section is inspired by Rodrigo. In particular the cadenza from Aranjuez.

This is one of those times when the music and the guitarist is featured, not necessarily the guitar. Most videos are in fact of guitars that are for sale, but they are the occasional ones where the point is the guitarist and the music. However, I understand the curiosity. I always want to know what guitar any guitarist is playing.

@@craigalake and you play it very very well. Congratulations. He makes lattice braised, and traditional guitars. He is an Excellent maker from Australia. I know you know that, it’s just for the others I guess:)

@@niceguitar6144 Hi! They definitely have a more traditional sound with a wider range of colours than most modern guitars (in my opinion) but also are extremely loud. But I feel I need to add, actually Marty doesn’t make lattice braced or traditional guitars. There is only one bracing style I’m aware of that Marty uses. They’re a radial braced guitar and the sound board is much thicker than a lattice guitar. He does use carbon fibre bracing but they’re VERY different to a lattice. I adore them!

@@craigalake thank you. I was not well informed apparently. I have seen vids of Marty guitars at a French store, and i could swear that the guy said: we have a traditionally braced Marty, and a lattice braced Marty today, let’s compare the sound. That’s why we shouldn’t swear:) thanks again for the info. I am surprised to see that concert guitarists like you clearly tend to stay away from traditional guitars. A Santos Hernandez for example, what incredible, charming sweet old sound! A matter of personal taste i suppose.

@@steveb9325 I think they only mention the luthier if they're selling the guitar themselves and that's why the videos of the Siccas Media series (in which the player uses whatever guitar they want) don't mention the builders
