Jack, this remix still holds the crown for the best remix of all time. On this remix, Biggie and Craig Mack were battling each other to see who can come up with best verse even though they were label mates. R.I.P. Biggie & Craig Mack By the way, the third person rapping is Rampage which is Busta Rhymes' cousin and is a member of his rap group Flipmode Squad. React to One Mic by Nas

In an interview after this track an interviewer asked Biggie about his labelmate Craig Mack and Biggie said that Puff had asked him to be on the track but when the interviewer asked if Craig would be on the next Biggie album Big "I dont f*ck with that dude" Craig Mack and biggie were basically Bad Boys first artists and Craig got the label of the ground with Badboys first hit single Flava in Ya Ear produced by Easy Mo Bee. Craig's album dropped around the same time as Biggies ready to die and it's not a bad album but not a certified classic but folks got to remember that Flava in ya ear basically built early badboy and was a huge hit. Also I always hated that Biggie was first on this remix and Craig was second It's a remix to Craig's song so Craig should go either first or last

You should do Puff Daddy featuring Biggie and Busta---Victory.....literally the last verses Big ever laid down...But DONT DO THE VIDEO VERSION....its cuts in and out of the song and has extra noises in that make it hard hear Bigs verses. Do the album version. Its epic, i promise
@3COI4 жыл бұрын
LL was good for memorable posse cuts. This verse was one of the most outlandish I've ever heard from him, though lol. "I guess like the jeans" 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 I think you should find an unedited version of "I Shot Ya (remix)" by LL Cool J featuring Fat Joe, Foxxy Brown, Prodigy, & Keith Murray. Everyone killed it and Prodigy and Keith Murray had beef pretty much their entire careers. I think you've done "4, 3, 2, 1...“ by LL featuring, Method Man, Redman, Canibus, DMX, and (only on the remix) Master P. If not, you gotta check that, too. It's the world's introduction to DMX and LL disses Canibus even though he's on the song. Another good group track is It's Murda by Ja Rule featuring Jay-Z and DMX. They were supposed to form a group called Murder Inc. but this is one of the few songs they did together.

Just to let you know since 1985 I fell in love with hip-hop...I'm a Lyricist student I love lyrical rap songs these are my all-time favorite rappers even your favorite idolize these rappers Eric b and rakim ain't no joke I know you got soul paid in full follow the leader and the getto... Rappers like Nas AZ Eminem cannabis these are lyrical rappers that idolize Eric b and rakim... Rakim is known as the god MC if you know anything about Jay-Z Jay-Z calls himself God MC if a lot of rappers that idolize Eric BN rakim in there flow... You have to do some Eric b and rakim... I'm not going to let you down any of your real hip hop will tell you that Eric b and rakim rap God of the 80s Eric b and rakim was a head of their time.... Eric be it's the DJ rakim is the MC... Please you have to do one of their songs to understand rakim it's a lyrical and I will start off with ain't no joke that song set fire to a lot of MCS of that era because no one came on the scene with that much lyrical aggression... After rakim came along the whole hip hop change you had to be lyrical to be called an MC which gave birth to naughty by nature Biggie small Nas Wu-Tang Busta rhymes rakim what's considered the measuring bar then wrap got better after rakim... Just a tidbit for those that didn't know now you know...🙂
