Craig Marin and Olga Felgemacher: Marx Brothers Puppets!

At Trav S.D.'s Animal Crackers Salon, puppeteer Craig Marin shares memories of the all-puppet version of The Cocoanuts he presented on a national college tour with his Marko Puppet Theatre company in 1973. He then demonstrates some of the puppets from that production, assisted by his partner, the great puppeteer Olga Felgemacher. This talk was part of The Animal Crackers Salon, a storytelling event at Marxfest. This event took place at the Lambs' Clubhouse, 3 West 51st Street, New York City, on Saturday, May 18, 2024. Excellent act! Lovely looking puppets, and it’s evident Craig and Olga have all the mannerisms down! I’ve done puppetry before and I gotta say, it’s not easy. Props to these two!
