“Well, he lowered his voice, then he raised his brow, Said, let me tell ya right now... That's something to be proud of” that line gets me every time. Sometimes we think we have to do something grand to be considered a great person. But focus on what’s right in front of you. Be a good husband, father, son, friend, etc. That’s something to be proud of...

Living in Arkansas for most of my life has left me with a weird view of tornadoes. A lot of older houses, mostly grandparents houses all have underground storm cellars, some tight knit neighborhoods have a community shelter that the entire neighborhood manages upkeep on. Where in places like California where an earthquake can happen and your day will continue, if a tornado comes through your town and actually touches down, there is more than likely someone that has lost a home or business. My high school was hit one night when I was a teenager and my mom didn't even wake me up because it wasn't coming towards us. She sat out on our front porch and watched it go across town. Our family business sponsored a relief effort a couple towns over when a tornado came through during my senior year. I hauled cases of bottled water to the hundreds of people that came together to help. Its insane to see how many people will come together to help someone they barely know when a tornado has taken their home and essentially uprooted their lives.

From Arkansas too. You learn to watch the direction of the tornado. If it isn't heading toward you, you go outside to see if you can see it. The last tornado that came close to us went between our town and the next one. I never even stopped making dinner. Lol.

Yes ma'am! He absolutely does! He's freaking awesome in concert! He out performed Tracy Lawrence in concert! Afterwards the crowd kept requesting for Craig Morgan to come back out and perform more after Tracy performed! It's really no wonder because Tracy Lawrence showed his a** because he wouldn't come out of his trailer for a special meet and greet with a handicapped group that a motorcycle club sponsored. As you could imagine, it caused a HUGE scene! Craig Morgan heard the ruckus and personally came out and done the meet and greet hisself with his merchandise and everything! He's such a exceptional man ❤

@MONEYABUISNESS During his performance; he kept throwing his guitar picks out in the crowd. Our son who was 6'4 at 14 was in the first couple of rows and caught like 8 or 10 picks! He kept 5 and gave 5 away to 5 of the handicapped kids up front! After Craig Morgan saw him do that, he threw him a signed shirt and towel he had on stage! That was 2004! I still have all of the stuff in my hope chest!

This song rings loudly and sings so very true to HIM... because to this day, he is a devout Christian and fears god... he lost his son just a few short years ago in a tragic boating accident. But yet, Craig STILL BELIEVES, he is still faithful, he still lives, and Still Thrives.. He understands that THIS AINT NOTHIN..

Country people and farmers they're all like this, they're built differently, the only thing we can do is bare it and carry on. We try to never let the crickets and little things bother us because we always understand that there's always going to be hard times but those hard times will never last. I remember when this came out, I listen to all the time to remind myself of my roots and over a decade later I still find myself crying.

Tornadoes and earthquakes sound terrifying, but I'm from SE Texas and have been through 4 hurricanes. Rita, Katrina, Ike, and Harvey. I've seen horrible damage and destroyed neighborhoods. My anunt and uncle's brand new home flooded in Harvey, the first home they ever owned. My high school band opened our band hall for refugees and my church went out in groups to help tear down molded drywall. You learn to just rebuild and pick up where you left off. The important thing is the people who survived, not the things. You shelve pictures and sentimental items high up and make sure you have flood insurance. Love this song.

Music can save a person’s life. It has always played a roll in my life as inspiration to keep moving forward. For as long as I can remember, it has inspired me. Craig Morgan writes in a way that brings me back to my childhood and I just scroll through memories, replaying every big event. That’s a lot of emotion, but it always feels good and it’s always a heaping dose of humility. I live in Northwest Louisiana so I get plenty of hurricanes and tornadoes. Every once in a while, I feel the earth trembling from mild earthquake activity in Northeast Texas. It’s rare and subtle.

@@Warrenturner77 I think it's a double line like how at one point in the joker vs pennywise ERB video pennywise said and I quote "I'm the dairy, Maine attraction, every 27 years" that's a double line because the it movies is based in dairy, Maine and he's saying that he's the main attraction there every 27 years because he comes out feasts on a bunch of children and then he sleeps for 27 years before repeating the cycle and that's why he's the main attraction during that time because on the same day every 27 years a bunch of kids start disappearing every time without fail so basically that's what a double line is and I think that's what that line is so technically you're both right

I lived in Birmingham, AL, during the April 2011 tornadoes, when an F-5 tornado ripped across the state from Tuscaloosa to the GA state line! We just helped each other build back because that is what we are taught everyday growing up in the South! Help each other and Love each other, no matter what!

The Call is my ring tone! Matt Kennon can really belt out the songs. I believe Billy reacted to it like 6 or so months ago, so we should still be able to watch it if we type The Call in Billy search. I don't believe I know the Montgomery Gentry one, I will try and find it to listen to it.

I am from Hueytown Alabama, 5 to 10 minutes SW down I-5S and I-20W from the City of Birmingham where I was born. I was a first responder for the April 27th, 2011 tornado outbreak that started in Tuscaloosa and hit our home town and a town named Pleasant Grove. I am an inactive US Marine, former police officer, volunteer fireman and a licenced HAM radio operator. I am a certified SKYWARN Storm Spotter and Chaser. I lived almost all of my 52 years dealing with severe weather and tornadoes, and this story has played out so many times in my life that it is far more the normal, then the unusual. Thanks for the reaction!

I'm an Army brat. I grew up with blizzards, whiteouts, earthquakes, floods, etc. Daddys last tour in Europe was during a time of heightened tensions and advisories against Americans flying into Europe. We stayed here in SE Alabama, close to family. We get tornados and hurricanes. After 30+ years, it's just part of life. When the warnings come out, make sure to have plenty of bottled water, coleman fuel and such. I've actually stood and my front porch and watched a tornado go over the house. Another great Craig Morgan song is "The Father, My son, and the Holy Ghost". He wrote it after he lost his 19 year old son.

My dad was my rock. He lost both legs and his left hand and he kept moving forward. Never gave up. He last dream was to walk me down the isle to give my hand away and he was able to and we had our first and only father daughter dance and he passed away a year later he was only 61. Then my oldest brother he was mentally challenged and he taught me so much about life and how to look at it in a different way. He passed away a few weeks ago and he was only 43😢 I miss my two best friends.

Love of my life passed away minutes after giving birth to our 5th child. 3 months later came home to my baby brother having massive heart attack, I couldn't save him.... 2006 was a tough year. Everything since then.... has been nothing! I have been half dead since she died, just don't have time for grief... gotta be the rock for our babies....

I can not hear this song and not cry. This song reminds me of too many people to count accurately. Our (step)dad held our mom's hand as she passed away a decade ago. He followed her 2yrs later. My dad is a Nam vet. He lost his dad when he was 11 and his baby brother that same year. I've experienced tornadoes and hurricanes and had some damage and seen the damage neighbors and friends had. A dear friend lost his wife a few weeks ago, they were married for 20yrs. I see how hard it has been on him. He has such a long road to travel to get back to just being ok. There's things that matter and things that don't = truth Everything but the loved ones you lost can be replaced. It's a lot of work to have to start from zero but if you have your family then it eases the hardship. My husband (35yrs this June) has often asked me how I do it, how do I not let the hard times get to me, how do I keep believing in him. It does get to me, but not for long. I told him - My Sunday school teacher once told us that you know you are living right and doing right by God when the devil has to work so hard to bring you down. He doesn't care about the names in his book, he wants those in God's book. I am not a lucky person. I know and accept this because I believe all of my luck was spent on my family. I have a loving faithful husband who helped me to raise two kids into decent intelligent adults who loves their family and respects each other.
