The Big Loud Shirt, Craig Wiseman, is back in the studio for Part 2! What you will realize in Part 2 is that Craig's last name is quite fitting, as he is one extremely wise man.
Part 2 kicks off with laughs about PR training and the inspiration and soul that goes into songwriting. Then, Ern and Craig dive into some of Craig's biggest hits, such as "Live Like You Were Dying" and "The Good Stuff." Craig explains how each of those songs came to be and what the process of writing them was like. Next, Craig plays two verses of an iconic unreleased song that has been labeled a "career-ender," Craig crushes a ChugBud in the Truth or Chug segment, and ERNEST shares a hilarious story of a time he and HARDY were writing with Craig. The episode closes with some wisdom that you can't get anywhere else, a discussion on how to make it in Nashville, and how self-awareness is a curse that crushes all creativity. This is our wisest episode yet. Enjoy!
-----
Pull up to the studio and hang with Big Loud Records artist, ERNEST, as he talks music, life, current events, and more with old friends and new. My cousin wrote country music for years. He wasn't a GOAT like Craig Wiseman is but he had a few hits like Wanted and She's Single Again, etc. He's no longer with us but after hearing Craig's stories, I'm reminded of the sacrifice Charlie made to live his dream. Thanks for this guys!

These 2 interviews with Craig have been awesome. I've become a little bit obsessed learning about what makes Nashville tick behind the scenes and its guys like Craig that are full of knowledge and insight. What makes him a great songwriter is the way he sees the world and explains it. Great Interview... LOL get us a part 3.

The most interesting, and entertaining man ever on your podcast. He is intelligent, knowledgeable, and should probably have his own podcast, just about his memories.

Loved this one. Behind the scenes of the songwriters….awesome. As somebody who’s kicked around the idea of pursuing songwriting, it was the best podcast I’ve seen. Will be sharing to my other musical friends

Self awareness is a curse, knowing all and why all is the way it is is a curse. It’s hard to enjoy life knowing what all I know. And due to all the different balances throughout the universe in a whole, simply means and states that bad, evil, dumb, ignorant people will never disappear or die out because they to cause a balance in life, and as some change others change as well, it’s a balance in which can’t be thrown off or changed, I believe heaven is a place where balance does not exist possibly, it’s more of a 85% pure world not a half in half.. and it can’t fully be 100% pure or we can’t enjoy storms, nightfall, cold or warm, etc. we thrive to live off all good and bad. I’m order to have great moments you have to have bad ones. So it’s a headache 🇺🇸🗽🃏🗽🇺🇸
