Welcome to Bible Time!
The intention behind these videos is to post one video a day reading through a part of the Bible. I encourage you to find other passages to read in addition to watching this and to spend time praying and listening to God. My hope and prayer is that, for all of us, spending time daily seeking God won’t be done merely out of legalism or religion but stemming from real relationship and a desire to follow the way of Jesus!
My goal is that our time seeking Him would lead us to greater affection for Jesus AND obedience to Jesus!

My favorite verse in the Bible. I took over a prayer group in jail with my friend and I prayed and flipped my Bible open randomly to Romans 14 13. That verse has meant so much to me not just cuz that but how it's played out in my life. Ty

Here is some feed back intended as an FYI and not to criticize, and it may just be me, but the background music is very distracting from your message. It doesn't go anywhere or resolve the way music is designed to do and the longer it goes unresolved it can create anxiety and become distracting.

So basically, try to do what’s right, clearly don’t worship idols or idolize something that seems to hold higher power than God in a way. Like Christmas, right now I’ll do Christmas BUT no Santa or reindeers and elves, santa is this guy who comes once a year to give us gifts and sneak around and is so great, and not even real the only good GIFT giver is Jesus Is God our father whom is also gonna come some time and etc and lying is a sin especially to make an idol you use every year that’s the conclusion I’ve got : ) I was not gonna do it at all but I think that’s not right we just should have that IDOL. : D So, basically like follow clear scripture, let people have their own beliefs, spread the word and what would make most sense and be open to studying it and maybe your testimony on it, so we know the old law is done we can eat all and we shall spread that because that’s the gospel as well we are not under the law nor saved by works anymore that’s just the Bible lol. But if they wanna believe that, share the Gospel and move on. I believe you’re either doing right or wrong, and we should do right by spreading the clear truth. I was led astray by a man I dated, he didn’t actually know Jesus and made it more about hate…made me follow the old law and sabbath and made me not be able to enjoy time with family on holidays and I even led others astray who just wanted the love of God. Just because his one thought and belief it led to more unbiblical things, like different versions of God and evil God after saying no to the old law after I felt depressed from it and trying to follow it, then before that it was “God hates people who live in sin” and “God doesn’t save everyone only those in the book” meaning only certain people are gonna be saved whether they repent or not. It was so depressing and he even made me do fornication and stuff like that, and wanted to marry me young and take me from my mother and tried to make me go against her. I was so easily led astray because I focused on works and the old law that isn’t in process anymore or active and not what God teaches, all I wanted was truth and Jesus. I was found by Jesus and broke up with him confused and cried so much so so so much, I found peace slowly but surely through study. I am very thankful for God, so I will definitely spread my testimony and help those in situations like that especially to stop destruction. But if they don’t agree then I’ll go on and pray, because clearly we should follow what God has made clean and good, or we deny Jesus and what he did. Why follow the OT laws when God ended it to make his coming on the cross happen, a release. I pray God guides me and my future and those in it. 🙏🏼🩷✝️ About the Christmas though, No Santa and nothing that follows Santa like eleves and reindeer with glowing noses and milks and cookies set up. From right now and what I know and feel good on is, no Santa and Christmas is about getting together and giving/getting and giving thanks to family and friends, cooking with family, Bible studies and worship to Jesus as well. (I’d make done with my family I’d make) ❤ When it comes to Easter, from what I know it’ll be about Jesus and his death and resurrection, I don’t like the bunny thing, although it’s not necessarily an idol but more just there as a crapping bunny with eggs it’s also a lie, but I’m thinking maybe it’s okay as of right now because it doesn’t have this sense of this great man who comes around and all that. I think on Easter I’d color eggs with my family (there’s actually a thing with the eggs that represent the death and resurrection of Jesus but I forgot how it goes but it’s super cool) and I’d do Bible study and worship music and prayers and also do the egg plantings, maybe I’ll allow the rabbit (I want God to help me with that choice and I’ll pray about it with my S/O) or I’ll plant the eggs or whoever and I’ll let it be known we hid eggs with candy in them. It’s still fun and active and involves Jesus! : ) Same with thanksgiving it’s all about giving and thanks and family time, we pray to God and thank Jesus. 4th of July we celebrate our countries independence and becoming our own country, I don’t like that people drink and stuff like that of course I wouldn’t do that neither my kids think it’s right. New years would be just celebrating a new year that God gave us, giving thanks to God for another year and spending time with family. (Same rules with drinking and etc) I think it all depends on HOW you celebrate and exactly why and if there is any idols that try to represent Jesus Christ and his figure as a take over in a way. Talking about this and getting it off my chest seemed to actually help and give me an answer but I will of course still pray because that’s what we should do and study and be open to all and ask for conviction and ask God to help us be comfortable with what he’s comfortable with and uncomfortable with what he’s uncomfortable with.
