Yes, and The Story Goes is his most underrated album. Was quietly released in the USA without promotion, but I have the UK version of the album, which had the track Never Should Have Walked Away. Such a great song exclusive to the UK version.

He did not adapt to the new music era, garage loss popularity after the 90s and too many good artist from Usa came along with him and copied his style in the early 2000s with Major labels , Beyonce Lopez Kelly Nelly Usher Drake Chris Brown and many stole the show. The competition was too high

His sophomore album Slicker Than Your Average ruined him in the USA after a great start. I mean he became dubbed the British R. Kelly after album and many Americans lost interest in Craig David's music after that album. He went in a completely different direction with his music after his debut album similar to what Justin Timberlake did after his solo debut album Justified. Did not stick to the formula that made his first album successful and changed it up too much. Making records his fans did not expect.
