I picked up my first Craig David album before I was 10 years old. Born to Do It. Back before I listened to lyrics and I simply enjoyed music for the quality of the music, itself. I didn't care about them talking about taking bitches to the bedroom, I just loved the voice and the melody. Of course, as I've grown older and more able to appreciate more closely what he was trying to do with said album and songs, since, I'm met, time and time again, with the same thought. *"Damn, I'm glad I found this dude's music."*

I am going to comment because your comment is totally 1000 percent off base. paul jones, do you not realize that 1000000 of every single singer sings into a mic that is connected to an interface that is connected to a computer, that is connected to some type of recording platform, that is connected to a mixing board that is connected with all kinds of circuit to different compressions, eq's, and other sound modules and faders? you didn't complete the assignment, you thought you did something there? As a music producer myself and a music engineer who appreciates music, it shouldn't matter how anybody records the material, be it reel to reel which is expensive or digital, the music should come out professional and pleasing to the ear which a lot of it doesn't and that is terrible perhaps that is what are you referring to. Your whole " I am so impressed that there’s still success to be had by singing into a mic and not a computer to sieve all individuality out", is not accurate, because if that was the case none of the music you hear wouldn't be captured unless someone was using just their phone to record someone standing on the street or balcony or wherever they are.
