I may have missed it, but there didn't seem to be any mention of the rotation of the chest and torso. Isn't this a big part of maintaining lag through impact, and without chest rotation, we're throwing our arms at the ball and losing the vital angle between forearm and shaft?

??.. Some players have great lag without much chest rotation. Dr Robert Neal has shown a lot of statistical information on chest rotation. I myself with my swing style only have 10° of chest rotation at impact even less at times and I have heaps of lag depends on your swing style.. I almost have too much legs so it’s definitely not the area turning your chest will not create lag

I like this also... makes sense. But I would like to a video on pressure on the index finger at contact of the golf ball. I find you need to feel increasing pressure or at least pressure on you index finger at impact. I hit balls with and without this feeling and it is night and day. A PW without is 105 to 115 yards with a full swing and with this pressure it is 120 to 130 yards with a 3/4 swing. With the pressure you know for sure your hands are ahead of the ball at impact... thus more lag. I would be grateful to hear your thought on this.

@@CraigHansonGolf - ok... I will search... I find that simply trying to get the correct wrist angles alone without creating this pressure doesn't create the proper forward shaft lean even with all of the correct angles as if there is no pressure, one most likely has lost the angle and released the club too early... flipping. Keep in mind this is in tandem with all of the other concepts that you teach. But I find this incredibly important. Not sure if I am articulating my thought correctly. I will search for the video but if you have a link that would be great. Awesome instruction!

Another great video, thanks for this, especially for the awesome drill. I am a little confused as to when the left leg actually straightens. I read somewhere that the touring pros all straighten that leg by the time they are halfway down in the swing. You seem to be indicating that it is actually later than that? Please if you can, could you perhaps shed some light on this? Thanks for a great channel.

Sometimes the left leg won’t straighten at all .. when it does most times it’s after impact
