Like most things it probably depends on what you were addicted to. Tobacco and methamphetamine/cocaine will alter the way the brain functions, while heroin and alcohol once a person beats the addiction thats basically it. After a while it is much easier to control any urges. You know the substance you were addicted to, but that isnt the only thing you can be addicted to.

Dark Souls has always/never had a hormone slider. It isn't a hormone slider, it is just a slider in the basic character creator where you can make coarse changes to make your character either look more masculine or feminine, among other things. It was present since Demon's Souls on the PS3. From the basic character creator you can go into the detailed character creator menu where you can make detailed changes.

She has her own little channel called "randomyoko2" where she basically talks about US and Japanese politics from a Japanese perspective. As far as games being tough to go back and play, I would say that many games from the N64 and PS1 era fit into this Those were the early 3D games where developers were still mastering them. The controls and things like camera angles are just really hard to go back to for games of the early 3D era of gaming. Games from the SNES and Genesis aged far better than N64 and PS1 games.

Console exclusivity needs nuance: locking it to only one console is lame and just forces people to shell out more money, culture shouldn't be only for the well to do. Keeping Xbox on Xbox, PS on PS, yada yada thats fine, but keeping them off PC just makes gamers worse off. I say this because i understand the convenience of consoles, not everyone wants to learn about specs and operating systems and compatibility, i get it; just dont make me have to use emulators that keep getting yeeted just to play Blood Borne or whatever. Its dumb, there's more than enough "lazy" people that just want a console.

On the exclusive games thing, Xbox just wants to sell to more gamers. Playstation gamers will tell you all day long about console sales, but PlayStation has cancelled around 10 games and lost millions of wasted dollars and more importantly, time. Game of the year winner, Astro bot, sold 1 and half million copies to 65 million playstation gamers. Microsoft owns Call of duty, Minecraft, Doom, Elder scrolls, fallout, World of Warcraft to name a few, i think they'll be fine.

If games dont sell consoles, then what, pray tell does? The answer is nothing. The only thing Xbox and PlayStation have to sell consoles is the Xbox and PlayStation name on the box. Meanwhile, the only company to have maintained it's platform exclusivity, Nintendo, has outsold the other consoles, amd done so with console sellers every generation. When you argue for console exclusivity as a consumer you are not only arguing against your own interest, you are renouncing your own individuality and stepping into a group identity. I don’t know why people are so delusional in game exclusivity benefiting literally anyone. Games do not sell consoles. Games do not benefit in anyway for being an exclusive. Game exclusivity does not somehow drive hardware innovation. Final fantasy rebirth is a shining example of the failure of exclusivity. That game underperformed so hard because it was restricted to ps5 on initial release, so square enix halted exclusives. The age of game box patriotism is dead.

I think Microsoft might be forward thinking on exclusively elimination. Think about what advantages consoles have over pc? In the past 80s and 90s you'd pay 1000 for a glorified typewriter pc then still have to buy sound, graphics, and physics cards (shortly) so it was cost effective to have consoles too. Nowadays ease of use is the only thing I see why consoles still exist. However, every device is becoming everything else. A phone is now used for so much more than just making calls. All the devices in your home are smart devices all connected and preloaded with apps to make them more than they were a decade ago with the ability to gain more functions. I think it's only a matter of time before streaming from your pc/steam to any screen in your home becomes a thing. Look at how things have evolved (introduction of steam big picture, things like switch mobile/home gaming) and I can see this being a thing with newer technology over time. And Microsoft is the Disney of video gaming. They buy game studios then run them into the ground. I would guess they still make a lot of money with peripherals and still can find profit in this move no matter what the future holds.

51:19 PC has exclusive features locked to a GPU (AMD, Nvidia or recently Intel) or CPU for ages, so argument about console pushing anything regarding technological advancement is just stupid at this point in time. And let's not forget that current consoles, including Switch are running x86 and modified PC GPU architectures. Switch is a exception, it uses ARM 64 archi and Nvidia's GPU uArchs. So that argument is out the water. Second, look how much Nvidia pumped into promoting Ray Tracing (they're pumping massive amount into game dec, especially CDPR to develop and test new features on their games) to the point that Sony and MS Had to add that hardware feature to the consoles not the other way around. Consoles are dead. Shags you're living in the past.

Resistance 2 was a ps3 launch window title, I believe, because resistance 3 came out around the end of the ps3. Sky's of Arcadia getting renewed could be nothing since Sega just doesn't want to lose the title to the public domain. I really don't know I why I watch this because every time you talk Xbox, you bash it. You can not accept Xbox is brand now and keep thinking it is 1995 with exclusivity. Times change, and exclusivity is dying. Nintendo is not safe from it. They do have a similar service to gamepass, and it is only a matter of time before the apps are on pc or even an xbox.
