I work at an Amazon warehouse. That red sticker isn't a return, its a transship sticker, meaning lets say a warehouse in Cali has an overflow of kuerigs but they are selling a lot in Illinois but before it gets there it make a stop in Montana to drop some stuff off at a different Amazon warehouse. Then they will send it to the Illinois warehouse. So the red sticker is basically an identification that its an Amazon product. Sometimes it will be a white sticker with purple outline.

Man... I was struggling needing money when I was 18, not drugs, a gambling loss...1999 (I used to sell sports cards at events/so I had about $8000 value in cards from 89-93, reasonably thinking real value is about 10%... and then negotiate for that, so I was hoping in the $600, but i'd reluctantly take $400/ $375... The guy said he was no where close... He said it'd be damn near disrespectfull for what he'd offer and what others would offer... I had outdated rookies that weren't the buzz anymore... He basically said "don't waste your time trying to sell them, had I thought I could get $500 (and I know people) I'd offer you $320-$350... but I can't... and man, you have a cool collection that is unique to you, keep them, and you'll enjoy them when your older... Give them to your kids or neighbors" .... So I took his advice and still had the cards when I was 40 before I gave them away.

The Amazon claim is BS. Third party's buy the stuff that has been returned to fulfillment centers and then goes through a process which I used to do. Check out the contents of the box, manual, accessories, does it work etc. Then we determine is we can return it to stock or if it goes to pallets with defective product and that sticker is placed on the package to differentiate it.

That's fair but just know once you're on drugs and you need a fix to stop your withdrawal that is a scary thing so have some compassion. I had a two year opioid addiction and I learned through that experience that most people do actually want to stop , it's the withdrawal that makes you keep going not the high. In fact depending on what you're on or what drug it is you can't just stop cold turkey you have to ween down. Not condoning drug addicts but if that guy was desperate for a fix I understand. Still I get it though, Pete didn't have to overpay he was very nice by doing so. Hopefully he at least gets his money back.

@@nicholasnoriega1205 I was compassionate and I was burned, more than once. I've already experienced the, "You're a life saver! I'll fix my car with this money, thank you SO MUCH," only to hear that I was being laughed at as they smoked their crack pipes with my money. I learned a valuable lesson. Addicts will lie, cheat, steal, abuse, and sometimes kill to get money for their habit. I realize they need help, but THEY [in most cases] chose to take their first drug. I didn't make the choice to take drugs when I was offered numerous times. So why should I feel compassionate for someone, [IF he is], who's habit has escalated to the point of crime? Theft has risen enormously; so much so, that many businesses are closing. Consumers are paying higher prices to compensate for theft. I'm not going to pay another dime by giving and addict money so he can go possibly OD. Believe me, taxpayers already pay for drug programs. Enough is enough.

why can't you use a Keurig machine at an apartment? lol

Maybe not enough room. Cabinet height over counter?

That placque can be removed from the clock with lighter fluid let it sit. Works great. Then wipe with rubbing alcohol. I resell old trophies with new engravings as a side business that netted me over six figures these last 4 years.
@Digitalgems90007 ай бұрын
@@ruby055 possibly. must be some very bad counter space though, those machines aren't that tall and if anything you could stick it out in front of where the cabinet sticks out if you need more height. but yeah no idea lol

LOL, i thought that was odd too. I don't think he got it on amazon or ever intended to use, he's just flipping it and was kind of being shady by trying to make Pete think it was 100% new and unopened. He either knows it's refurb or has no idea but doesn't want to let on.

I do "clean outs" tenants sometimes just leave all their trash and unwanted items before they leave property or are locked out. So that guy probably helped empty a rental and picked items he thought were gems.

u sensed that the man needed help desperately for whatever reason, and he was polite other than a bit pushy on the bargaining, and u did a good thing because u wanted to that day, respect u for that. have a good day Sir

The guy with the clock and clarinet seemed over exaggerated like he came in there to purposely “oversell” with the acting. Idk that’s just the vibe I got as it’s so rare to see someone come into this store (at least what we’ve been shown) that is so evidently on drugs. And I can’t fathom the lovely shop owner would help him out when it would seem clear why he’s supposedly “desperate”

Is the guy who was asking about microphones and wanted the MacBook all there, I feel like you were having two completely different conversations lol
@Boomhauer3337 ай бұрын
Dude went to the bank and probably never came back for the macbook lol.

Nah this is just what some people are like. Once they stop understanding whats happening they just kinda autopilot their way through the interaction until they move on to something else. It's like his son said "I need a laptop and a microphone" and he was just pointing at anything that seemed like a microphone.

Clock guy was desperate, had crazy weird objects, says he has no money, yet his hands are absolutely filthy - similar to someone who works hard.....but its clear his story is different.
