The last one of that version I could find, in about that condition (that is, from what I could see in your video) sold for $553.50 in 2021 on eBay (from Worthpoint) Probably worth $650 or so today, as signs in general have jumped in the last 3 years. 1:10 One time I had to go to a Courier's collection center to pick up a package because I had to sign for it. While waiting I walked over to two big swinging doors to the sorting warehouse connected to the office and took a peak. As an online reseller, my experience has been that when the buyer starts out by accusing you of sending them the item broken, then they are scamming you in some way. I think buyers sometimes change their mind and then damage the item so they don't have to pay for return shipping.

I've worked in freight forwarding for over 25 yrs shipping things across the world every day, all day. You'd be surprised how rarely things get broken in shipping. I mean like 1 in thousands. Seriously. Shipped all Pokémon stuff for them around the world... no damage. However once you start shipping the same type of goods to individuals all of a sudden things arrive broken 100 times more often. Hmmmmm...... gee I wonder. The "Delta Raider" used 420 HC (HIGH CARBON) steel. The model knife he shows you is a Model 120 . The handle is made from Kraton which is actually a synthetic replacement to rubber. Because of this, the material has excellent flexibility, high traction, and sealing abilities, but because it is a synthetic replacement, it offers a lot more. Kraton has an increased resistance to heat, chemicals, and weathering. All said and done , I own 4 of these and never paid more than £150 ( $190 ) . I might not know much , but I do know about knives. I am NOT knocking the knife, only what the owner thinks that it is worth.

Pete, I was able to find this exact coca cola sign 100% the same size and wording and everything. The sold comp I found is from October 23rd, 2023. It was $550 or best offer and using the 130 point website, it shows a best offer of $500 was accepted. This sign was not in nearly as good condition as the one that gentleman brought into your shop. If you need pictures, I took some screencaps showing the comp price as well as some pics of the sign.

I had a similar problem with an item I sold on ebay. I packed the box very well with bubble wrap etc and the way he said it broke and the pictures were just wrong. The Benchmade Delta Raider is 420HC steel, budget steel at best from the 80s. Edge retention is garbage but it’ll sharpen good. 200-300$ knife at the best of times.

Peter, you should discreetly mark your items to stop people swapping them out with there broken item. I’ve been there and had to deal with it and EBay are no help what so ever even when I have proof it’s not the item I sent 😏

Like I know he didnt mean to rip dude off but he really did. Some of those other wii items he had in box go for a good price aswell. The only thing he should have given him $30 for was the games. He didnt have any good titles.
