Cranberry Lake Campsites 29 &30

I had an amazing night at campsite 29 on Cranberry Lake in the Adirondacks. with a lovely sunset followed by a beautiful moon rise. I also overcame a big blunder -- failing to bring a top quilt. I also stopped by campsite 30. The two sites are a study on contrasts - one is small stoney and surrounded by deep water, the other is large, open, sandy and faces a small shallow bay.

Planning a trip with my adult son in two weeks. Likely putting in at Wanakena in two kayaks (he is a big fisherman). I have really appreciated all of the work that you have done. Considering site 40. Have you ever been there? I would like to avoid shore lights from private homes. Thanks again, your videos are awesome !

I have been there. It has a beautiful view down Dead Creek Flow. You shouldn't see any lights from cottages, but will see the flashing lights on navigation buoys; although I don't specifically recall because they don't bother me. I'll see if I have any video from when I was there and try to get it up. I'm glad you like the videos!
