22:22 the only problem I see is that the feature created at the timestamp is not tangential to the feature created before. How would we make the surface tangential so there isn't a hard line in the surface?

Sketch 10 should simply have gotten a tangent constraint. No idea why he omitted that. If it would have been impossible for some reason, one simple way of solving it would be to delete face after the dome and then replace it with a new loft between the tip and base shape.

The drawing provided in the beginning of the video is missing dimension and relationship, and some ambiguities. End of R94 arc should not be vertical to center of D70 circle, but tangent to R82 arc. R125 arc to the left of D36 circle should not start from D70 circle, but tangent to D70 circle, meaning the other R125 arc is does not start 71 away from center of D70 circle. D36 and D70 circles should not be tangent. Then the tip R10 arc can be tangent to both R125 arcs. I connect and 2 ends of R10 arc at the tip, and draw perpenticular to the center of that line so I can get a slightly smaller than 1/4 of a circle, revolve the tip, the loft 4 sections and the flat face of this revolt with tangent, I can get a hook with everything tangent to each other.

I’m on the final part of the drawing, where you’re adding a cosmetic thread. I click the ANSI Metric but then for the Type option I don’t have Machine Thread. The only option I have is Straight Pipe Tapped Three something. Do I need to install an addin to get more options for cosmetic thread? Or do I already have the addin and just don’t know the name for it to get more options for cosmetic thread?

How do you have such a high quality render on the material surface? No matter what material I choose it just looks soft and cartoonish (and the view setting is not in cartoon mode, I checked), how can I see the roughness?

Basically It depends on which graphic card you are using. A top end graphic card will give you high quality.

You can choose between lenovo legion series , hp omen and lenovo thinkpads , make sure you get minimum 4 gb of latest graphics card i7 or ryzen 7 etc. You have lots of option to choose near 1 lakh , all the best👍

@@sagarprajapati702 honestly I don't know much in details bro but I think in range which you finding laptop , you can get "the best" laptop , for such things cores etc you can look at the chanel that I've shared , I'm using ho elitebook g2 its i5 5th gen , 1 gb graphic card it works fine in it

@@sagarprajapati702 more cores isnt always better. Solidworks doesnt have the best multi core processing so a better cpu with less cores will probably serve you better.
