I discovered this song after a breakup. The lyrics immediately resonated with me. It felt like it was my ex talking to me. And with this performance, the hurt and emotion in Emilee's voice... boy does it sound like my ex. We loved each other so much, but I could see how much suffering there was inside her and how she treated me worse than she'd like because of it. One day I realized the way she often treated me was too much and had to end it all. But God knows how much I loved her, so much I can't explain. To my dear Karina, I hope you're not in so much pain anymore. I'm sorry it had to end like that. I have no remorse. I just have love for you in my heart, and I wish you happiness forever.
