I had the awesome experience of seeing Cranford play live. He was friends with the Tampa band, Helium Bomb, who introduced me to him. He was awesome. His is a sad story, and you can hear his sadness in his music. A lot of pain there... I hope he's happier now. I could tell he was a good person, lost in this world.

His strumming is the most amazing thing I've ever seen. I keep coming back every once in a while just to watch it. Anyone know what it's called?? That whole "Super fast up and down" mixed with normal speed strumming. It looks so simple, yet so fucking hard. I'm gonna post this on a few of his songs hoping someone knows what it's called. R.I.P. Cranford. You're greatly missed.
@CoryHatfield10 жыл бұрын
It's just a rhythm, man.
@nickbagelboy10 жыл бұрын
It's more than that though. It's a type of strumming. I figured out (I think) that it's called "Double strum". Fuckin hard to do haha.

@frankzappa103011 жыл бұрын
Timothy Steffes only one drug killed this great song writer, to say any drug he did was responsible for his death is inaccurate. Klonopin and Heroin are really different.
@TimothySteffes11 жыл бұрын
I wasn't saying Klonopin killed him. My point was the world is short one amazing person because of drugs. It doesn't which drug it was. The man is dead. I'm a big Frank fan, btw. Kudos.
@frankzappa103011 жыл бұрын
Well you're correct, it is true a drug killed him. It just seems that to generalize isn't really saying much, as i don't believe Cranford, even knowing he would die of smack, would stop with the green, klonopins or alcohol. And yeah zappa's the man, not everybody likes his sense of humor but that pulls the fans together
