Great underwater footage. It amazes me how it never ends up upside down on the drop or retrieve.

looks so good how it moves underwater. I bought one a few months ago. was about to use it and dropped it, lost it down a crack into the water. With these sale's on I bought another 2 to try. can't wait to see how they go. thanks for the cool video

I bought one through Amazon, here in the US. From your video, I really liked the action, particularly of the claws floating up with trebles in both. I have dove and watched sheepshead feed on small blue crabs, and can testify they usually try to dismember the claws first, in order to go for an easy meal. That is also why when fishing with live fiddlers, try to ignore the first taps, because that maybe the sheepies pecking off the claws, no where near your hook. I excitedly tied it on, and started casting off the seawal lWithin 30 minutes, working over riprap, it got stuck. I was able to change angles and pop it out, but the bottom cover (which holds the weight) and one set of legs came off. The eyes and hooks are fine. Are they really that delicate? If so, does cranka sell accessory kits with more legs and weights?

I'm scared to use one because they are quite expensive to get snags

Spaghetti Yeti So if someone was to design a more realistic looking crab with finer detail for cheaper you probly buy some aye,, a little birds told me this could very well happen.. I think Cranka needs some healthy competition, just sayin.wink wink

Hi mylurebox, How did u film the underwater footage? Very nice.
@mylurebox4 жыл бұрын
Hi Sean. I was running a GoPro rugged up with a custom mount. Cool to see em like that eh
@Cimmeron4 жыл бұрын
mylurebox , it was awesome. It looked like they were rigged together cause the camera moved exactly when the lure did. But the camera kept focus on the lure. Still not sure how you did that even with a rig
@spaghettiyeti70977 жыл бұрын
Do you think they would go well on rocky terrain, like really rocky? Because I think the fish there would gobble them up, but the rocks. and rough waters might be a bit to much for the crab lire.

hey man, over here in the north east coast of the USA we have fish called tautog, they feed almost exclusively on crabs and other hard baits, but they have some serious crushing teeth on them as well as crushers back in their throats. do you think these lures could stand up to them?
@nissangt-r93477 жыл бұрын

Do you use a quick change swivel or tie your line direct to the crab ? Are you using spinning flouro carbon straight through or just normal mono ? Thanks .
@mylurebox4 жыл бұрын
Hey mate. I don’t use a swivel ever. Just for filming the lure ;) I usually tie right to the split ring :) and fluro right through

Keiki_io Fish Maniac where did u ordered?
@tonykillinger85344 жыл бұрын
How would you rig it for fast current water?
@mylurebox4 жыл бұрын
There’s a 5.9g heavier version. Otherwise the best you can manage might be lighter braid for cutting through the water and helping the sink rate.

May I use this crab for sea fishing from shore? For example, for scorpion fish catching?
@Inshoreangler-ps6mw9 жыл бұрын
I use it mexico to catch coconacos(mexican barred snapper) and pargos(snappers) from shore, it's a little small, an they will often get gut hooked, but it's a good lure

I've never had much success dragging treble hooks across the bottom.
@mylurebox5 жыл бұрын
It’s something I’ll only try when it’s a sandy bottom really. Those little floaty claws help a bit but I know what you mean. Esp. At $20 a lure taking that chance is a bit dicey

You can have a great US market with those for sheepshead I've been destroying the sheepshead and I've only have had in for a week but you have to do something about the hocks those hooks are not strong enough for the big sheepshead here in South Florida i've already gone through four trouble hooks and they cost me big fish the big sheepshead snap them right off
@mylurebox7 жыл бұрын
Lance The Gimpy fisherman you have to check Cranka's latest crabs. They're perfect for your US big brutes. Big heavy hook to hold those beasts ;)
