Your slow, thoughtful methodical work is wonderful to watch. I love the care and precision you take with every step. And you skill with a scraper is awesome.

I'm watching with amazement & admiration. My woodworking skills are beyond beginner level. I have a super naïve question, What holds the hinges together? A specific kind of wooden dowel? Something metal? What stops the dowel from sliding out?

Excellent craftsmanship! How do you ground the strings? Ever had one break?

Great fine skill... but it's so complicated design - and that's what probably makes it so gourmet.

All I wanted to know was what to use as a hinge pin. I just left a new 2mm drill bit as a pin, when I got to tune the guitar G string it fired like a crossbow. Snapped drill bit in 2 places, my trapeze was unharmed. 😂

I hope you wear a respirator with fine-particle filters to protect your lungs! My favorite luthier just died of cancer and I suspect this contributed to his death.+

I'm sorry to hear that. Since this guitar was made I've bought a pretty sweet positive flow powered respirator. It turns out that conventional masks are useless when you have a beard!
