Brings back memories, i used to deliver a rural paper route with 130mi of gravel rd daily at 2-4am. Had a 04 golf 5spd tdi, wasn’t fast but it was quick. Started off doing the route driving fast but normal, by the time i quit doing it 2 years later i would destroy a brand new set of tires in around 3-4 weeks, and i mean bald. That car loved to slide around corners entering at around 70-80 and leaving at 60. had enough torque to hold the front end on the inside edge while sideways around corners, flicking the steering wheel back and forth just right would send the car into a nice slide without the e-brake. Absolutely epic! Used to have a c180 with standard open diff and powered by lpg. On rainy days and mountain gravel roads that car was always sideway 🤣. This video is making me wanna buy another one

We had a c180 esprit in the family and I never DARED to even imagine that this car can be driven this way. If I saw the next owner driving it like that, I'd have mixed feelings, so much abuse and so much glory lol! Mad respect for the Takata wheel
