Biggest key to filleting is always sharpening your knife and when you use your knife to scale use the backside so you don’t dull the blade. But you go sis I love seeing my people enjoying the outdoors

This has been the most beautiful fishing experience I’ve ever witnessed to experience. There’s a difference in the black crappie than any other color crappie. It’s much sweeter and more flavorful!!! The scales come off a lot easier if the fish are wet. Also a great fillet knife helps you out. Great video 😎

Crappie are the hardest fish to catch not using a fish finder. Y'all did well considering it was the wrong day.😂 But using plastic is the only way i fish for them. Much better results if done right. Stay blessed and prayed up

You're right, learning to filet is a learning process, one that I'm still learning myself, I've only tried to filet some large bass..... And I totally messed up the first one I did, left more meat on the fish than on the filet, but the next couple I did I got better, still haven't mastered it yet, but I at least save most of the meat now, keep practicing and you'll get it.... Love the videos.

Beautiful crappies, I seen you had a beautiful day! Don’t mean to be critical, but when you hook your minnows or shiners, always hook them underneath the chin and out the top of their mouth. also, I noticed that you was trying to butterfly the fish. Also I wouldn’t recommend that but I would recommend filleting your fish. The next time they were big enough to do that. i’m glad that you had a great time fishing with your uncle.
