Hello everyone! I'm sorry about the video randomly cutting off at the end. I have been fighting my computer for 7 hours now trying to get this video to upload properly. The original video was 25 minutes long but for what ever reason youtube or maybe the editing tool i use only upload 20 minutes of it! Maybe its time for an upgrade on my software. I'm sorry and i hope you enjoy the video anyway. It looks like it's the best I can do for now. And guys please remember..... Go fishin when you can cause its good fer ye!

You know one thing he does consistently but never heard him mention it as much as he should. Most pros preach it. But in tell you if there ain't a camera recording, there's few out of many that practice what they preach. And that's time on water. That's why I say very few. Because there's a lot of guys, i said alot not all, that don't spend the time on the water he does. There's alot that do, and they'd be fishing even if they won't pros. Or TV stars. Not many of them guys have passion for the sport of fishing that Ol Richard Gene does. You gotta stay on water when and ever you just ere can ere man. Hone em ol feeshin skills ere man. Rain, shine, sleet, or snow, you know I gots ta go feeshin whenever I can, cuz its gooooooodddd fer ya, and Richard Gene's tha man!!!!!

Hey Richard, I'm new to crappie fishing. You mentioned in this video that crappie often change their position in the water column. Can you talk about how to find the depth the crappie are at while vertical jigging? Thanks!
@RichardGeneTheFishingMachine7 жыл бұрын
What I do is watch the shad movement on my depth finder. You will notice the shad will change depths throughout the day. They will either go deeper or shallower and the crappie will do like wise. Thank you for watching Josh!

Thank you Jeremy! I do. I used them a whole lot in the 80s and 90s, I think they are an excellent choice for crappie. Sounds like you uncles knew what they were doin!

RG Crappie Fishing During a Cold Front, When you were fishing under the bridge you used a hard hookset. Were the crappie in deep water or was there brush piles and you used a Jig with a weed guard? And which loop knot do you use?
@RichardGeneTheFishingMachine7 жыл бұрын
I normaly don't set the hook hard on a crappie but in this case the crappie were deep. I Didnt use a weed gaurd. I use a simple overhand loopknot I got through the loop three times. Thanks for watching B yakr!

Richard , do you change your line every time based on conditions or type of fishing? Or do you just have that many different rod and reel /line set ups. I see you have many rods but you seem to use more variations in line than what you have in rod reel combos.

By the way this is (InfamousVFX) i dont know if you remember me much, but i have been a long time viewer, and now i started my channel i wanna ask you for some advice? Whats a good way to get my channel started, and get out there, and get viewers to come back, and watch my videos?
@RichardGeneTheFishingMachine7 жыл бұрын
Of course I remember! I'm glad I could inspire you Cam! My best advice I can give is just keep uploading. I know it's basic but It's what I have done. A lot of people that have started the same time as me, don't even upload anymore. They give up to fast! It' may take some time to build your channel but hang in their and be yourself!
