Jay, what is the name brand of the 1/32 underspins you use ?
@crappietrollingcombotechni61509 ай бұрын
I pour my own. You can get underspins from Litewirehooks on line. litewirehooks.com

Great job by you and your partner Jay. All the underspins I find in 1/32 have such small hooks. Is that a problem for you?

I would try them. I don’t think it will be a problem.

Lots of big fish there. Must’ve been mostly females in the deeper water I imagine. What depth were you marking fish primarily? I like the new camera perspective but still like the closeups too.

Most were females several males too. Most of the fish were in the 8-15 foot range.

I heard you say 3/32 jighead. What all sizes do you use when you double troll? I went yesterday and this guy was using a single 1/16 in 25 ft of water and catching tons. I was in 25 feet with 1/8 and two 1/16 and not catching. It was so strange. I was marking them at 15-20. We were both moving 0.90-1 mph. I don't see how his 1/16 beat my set up LOL

That can be frustrating. Most often I fish with double 1/16's or 1/16 & 1/32. I have fished with 1/8 jig head and 1/8 sinker when the fish are in the 15-20 range. I have used 3/32 on occasion but I may have bought those I don't think I have a jig mold in 3/32. We do usually trail a single 1/16 and a single 1/32. They pick up fish also. Lots of folks are looking shallow this time of year. Most of the fish we catch are in deeper water. The fish we caught Friday were in the channel in 25--28 FOW. We catch more fish in water that is 25 feet deep than anywhere else. Channels hold fish. However, I fished another lake week before last and caught them in the river channel that was 10-17 feet deep. They are where you find them and that can be anywhere.

Great video, I enjoyed it. Monks Crappie, isn't he in NC, or is it SC? Did you end up with a 2 man limit? Happy Easter!

Thank you Happy Easter to you. Monk's is in NC I think. We had 27 good fish. Thanks for watching.
