Thank you for taking time out of your day to film your life, I'm sitting here stuck behind a computer in the city. I live my fantasy lifestyle through you I guess. Fishing, hunting, family and church time, I'd love to go back to the country some day

Hey Justin! They were biting something fierce! Using a bobber looks like a nice option to get the Big Uns! After catching so many Cooler Keepers on a pole with a broken tip... sure gives you bragging rights AND a good story! Enjoy the bounty after they come out of Lake Wesson! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! Take care and I'll see you down the trail!

I never did it, but whenever one hits at your cork, it makes you wish you had a hook tied on right up under it. That would make for a tale worth tellin.... "Caught him on a bobber!" When I was a kid, we was wearin OUT the bream when they was beddin, and ran completely out of bait. Caught em on pieces of balognie and pieces of bread from a sammich that got sacrificed for the cause. Ran out of sammich stuff... Daddy smoked, so mama put a cigarrette butt on her hook and caught one! They was so fired up to keep anything out of the bed with them eggs that I caught a big bull bream on a naked hook! Never had any bait on it, and he nailed it anyway! Fish Fry!!

Look at them slabs. Yum!!!! Enjoy them. You telling the story of your broke rod tip reminded me of the time hub and I went shopping for him a new rod and I slammed it in the truck door. 🤦🏼😩 Oops! Life happens. We going on our 35th anniversary this year so I guess he wasn't too mad. 😂

At 50yo I love fishing a bobber! Fish saltwater a lot for specs and reds and still love a popping cork! Crappie and panfish on a cork nothing much better -

When the bite is on, it’s on! I’ve done fishing trips to Wisconsin where every cast you get a crappie.

Now you've done it! I had to wake up watching you catch crappie 🤬lol. I wish I was standing next to you.

Me and my cousin was fishing with bobbers on the river. We wanted it to sound more high tech so we re-named them strike indicators. Lol! Love fishing the saltwater flats with popping corks. Just something about watching them disappear.

My favorite way to fish for crappie. I use a double hook system. Minnow on the bottom hook and red worm on the top hook. My main fish I eat is crappy and bluegill. I usually get enough of both for a meal.

I lose enough in this brush just one at a time 😂

I've done the same with a taller style cork or bobber . We called it tipping. Just pull the float over and it jigs the jigs up and down and you can cast little further too.

You broke yer tip fella. 😂

I got a repair kit at Walmart with three different size tips and a hot glue stick. Think it was less than $5. So much fun when you get on a bed of crappie 👍❤️🇺🇸
@SpiritoftheOutdoors8 ай бұрын
This one was broke an inch past the eye do i just snipped it off and swapped it out for a different rod. So i got my reel on a tad longer rod now
@danielruprecht89328 ай бұрын
@@SpiritoftheOutdoors I'd just take off that last eye and add a tip. But it's always nice to have an excuse to buy some new gear😎

I hope you let them surprise visitors eat some of that fish!
@MarkBeck-lw5jq8 ай бұрын
sometimes they do call it catchin instead of fishin-always enjoy watching people catchin-try a dab of super glue & a new eyelet & you will bring that pole back to life-also that bobber stop system will work well in close country like your fishing so you can avoid the brush when casting from bank so you can have a craving flung on you from those fillets
@SpiritoftheOutdoors8 ай бұрын
It was broke an inch past the eye. Dont need 2 that close together so i snipped it off

Wonder how a slip bobber would work?

I don't mind sharing Crappie and bluegill. Not giving away zip lock bags. They have to come over for a visit and fish fry.
