Hi DC aged 66 I decided to take up fishing here four year ago here in the UK and I am still struggling tying knots. My eyes aren't what they once were , so your great video is great because the knot you use to tie your line onto the reel is out of all the videos I have watched the simplest I have seen. I'll definitely be using that now. Never seen or read of the Reel box you used so I will have to try and buy one now. Looks nice and sunny where you live unlike here in the UK. One more Sub for you . Stay safe. Ted

Hey I appreciate ya man... I especially liked that when ya got ahead of ya self, you still went back to explain. It's very easy to skip common or simple stuff when explaining something, when you know it well. A novice wouldn't have a clue. To break it down bit by bit is truly a skill in its own... AND you funny af 🤣 definitely gonna go watch more

A loop knot huh? I like that! I’ve always used a slip knot. I see the benefit in using the loop knot. That may be the answer to my problems. I’ve never caught a crappie on a jig. Only minnows. If I ever get back to the water again, I’m gonna try it out.

THANK YOU! Bought a reel like this, been a few years since i fished and I didn't realize these were so different. tried to spool twice and lost the line both times. i think i was using with the reel on top and was adding string counterclockwise and it would just spool off after casting and reeling in because it was basically unspooling it all. got super frustrated. but this helps a ton, thank you
