The whole reason the WAD exists is because it's actually quite difficult to get the engine to recognise a player start that's not inside of an enclosed sector. Getting the game to even start up with this level is actually something of an accomplishment (although not that big of an accomplishment)

1) You can set Doom 2 IWAD to be loaded automatically as a resource. (also, you may want to exclude it from testing) 2) Doomguy 2000 is well-known for creating his shitty wads, like seizure.wad or "Doomguy 2000 challenge". You shouldn't play both if you have seizures.

I think it is a good map. Like an abstract type of map, an ironic take on doom wads. Getting angry about wads is your job but this isn't really even a doom wad map, it's a joke, a troll, no effort was put in so it can't really be considered a failure.

This isn't the kind of "bad" that would win any worst wad contests in my book and that's because the only reason it's so bad is that there was absolutely no work put into it. So it's something anyone can do out of boredom in 1 minute just to say they made a map. I'd rather honour crappy wads where somebody actually did put some work only to produce complete garbage in the process.

There's a WAD that DeimosComaBlack shows that has no exit, and I think uses a sky texture as the wall, and has nothing in it. And it was released on a commercial disk. >.> Instead of made as a joke wad.

Flareblood A simple, common answer would be the game is so good it remains relevant to this day (I know I play it often), but also ID, the developers of DOOM, released the source codes for the game allowing people to mod it like crazy, at least that's the story I'm familiar with.
