I just finished replaying Crash Bandicoot 4 and I thought it would be absolutely impossible that a single person can complete every level without a death. Respect for that. I absolutely agree that this is possibly the most difficult jump n´run game ever created. Did my first playthrough retro stile and it was a pain in the ass. But a fun one. 10/10 would recommend.

Makes me wonder why the devs would make unlocks that require this if a high percentage of players will never get whatever this achievement gives you waste of game development time if nobody can get something But that minority of people that get it well here's a cool costume.....in a single player game so only you will see it Seems almost less effort to program a computer with optical sensors and motors to press buttons to learn and play the game for me (sure people could hack the game but a pc to beat games that are beyond your capabilities is more reusable change game it learns has 3x your reaction speed memories enemy spawn triggers wander if Elon musk robot can do this)

Although its a pain to watch, huge respect for not using slide jump that often, it could probably make your time a bit easier but its crazy that you've managed to archive platinum that way. When you say slide jump, do you mean slide spin? I've learned that slide spin is technically faster on ground, but triple spin is faster in the air and honestly... triple spin is easier to do for me. Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed the videos!

I’m being honest, I’ve never gotten a perfect relic on any of the other levels except for the tutorial level. And I’ve died almost 20 times before completing some levels near the end. Wasn’t even planning on touching the platinum trophy. Probably never will until my mid-30’s

a small disclaimer: the N. Sanely perfect relic is zero deaths ad all boxes, however you must get 80% of the wumpa fruits as well. Hidden gem is not needed for this relic. so all level gems besides the hidden gem with zero deaths.

Getting the platinum is extremely difficult, the perfect relics the platinum flash back tapes & the platinum time trials is what makes it such a grind. I did two levels in n verted mode for the perfect relics, rush hour & crate escape as it's a lot easier with the traffic crossing section and the jumping crate section.

I posted my first comment a month or so ago, but here is the update. I just got the platinum trophy after around 230 hours of absolute torture. There aren’t enough words in the English language to describe how frustrating this game is. The levels are way too long, missable boxes, bugs/glitches galore, and Cortex handles like crap. I have some VERY difficult platinums like Devil May Cry 4 and 5, Cuphead, all FromSoft games etc, but just getting all the N. Sanely Perfect relics and doing all the Platinum Time Trials are by far the hardest things I’ve done in gaming. I almost gave up a few times, but I preserved through and did it. The bonus stages are supposed to be fun, but they’re torture, and the gem path in Toxic Tunnels could be the worst section in modern gaming history. And the plat times for the relics are literal n. sanity. It took me 10 hours to get the plat relic in Jetboard Jetty because the controls are so bad. Rock Blocked is another n. sane contender because you have to be absolutely perfect to get the plat relic. And why did they decide to give a triple spin and not the good running shoes? Did they really need to make it MORE challenging? Still, after 230 hours, I’m finally done. Sorry for all the complaining 😅 There’s just a lot of things that could have been much better in my opinion. If Toys For Bob DOES do another Crash game, they need to scale back on the difficulty, make the levels shorter, give us the running shoes back, make bonus sections fun, and make full completion require only gold relics only. The game stopped being fun after about the 50 hour mark, so they really need to fix that if they do another one. Anyway, congrats on your amazing accomplishment. I know your pain all too well, so take pride in knowing you have one of the HARDEST platinum trophies ever made. HUGE congratulations!

Man, I attempted to go for the platinum back when Crash 4 was a free monthly PS Plus game. I got burnt out after getting the N. Sanely perfect relic in nearly every level. I might come back and attempt it at some point, but I know the N. Sanely perfect relics are just the beginning Fantasic job on this, though!

Thank you! If you have all the perfect relics, you’re pretty close to being done with the “difficult” stuff. The other real challenge is time trials. You have to do nverted levels though, but those aren’t hard so you got this.

@@3PointGaming I think I got every N. Sane relic, both in normal and N. verted levels, up until the polar bear level, so still have a ways to go with that. I'm mainly just scared for Rush Hour and Cortex Castle. Thank you for the encouragement!

I'm doing this right now on Steam. I think I'm around 40% and have seven N. Sanely Perfect relics left. I was having a relatively comfortable time up until I got to Crash Landed. That was the first time so far I can say I got frustrated, and it took four hours. A few other levels took over an hour, but I guess I have high tolerance because none of those actually frustrated me. Having a good time, actually.

There were plenty of moments I also got frustrated on crash landed! Too many preventable silly deaths happened for me. I did really enjoy overcoming levels I had trouble with. Super satisfying in the end

I'd never be able to get all those relics. I only ever recall reaching 100% in Crash 3, Crash Twinsanity, Crash Nitro Kart, and Crash Tag Team Racing. Maybe the original Crash Team Racing on ps1 and Crash Wrath of Cortex on ps2 but I'm not sure about those last two. But anyway Crash Bandicoot is and will forever be my favorite video game franchise.

You can use Inverted Crate Escape so is easier than normal Crate Escape

I remember in the 90s my cousin playing crash 2 with no memory card TWICE and getting stuck in the same place. The glitch was awful. Children, please appreciate internal memory. I couldnt even play tomb raider for more than an hour because i had to start over every time i played. That was back when it wasnt a ps1, it was just a playstation.

I just finished the story, you do not even know how many levels I finished with 1-10 boxes missing. I was so mad. I planned to fully complete the game but I guess I may give up. The spinning mask is definitelly the worst "power up" I've ever had.
