I can envision Crash's stage being a Time Twister Machine, taking the fighters through the various historical and futuristic periods that Crash 3 featured. I could imagine this track being part of a medley that syncs up with the transitions.

Easily the most nostalgic theme for me, owned a ps3 and the og crash 3 was on it, distinctly remember these levels! Sad they butchered the whole mysterious feel of the song in the n-sane trilogy (most noticeable around the 0:20 mark) I mean yeah the remix sounds more desert-y I guess, but it ruined the overall feel like your exploring a ancient tomb no-one has explored before. (minus the occasional mummy or bug) so this one will always be the best version of this song

Yup they indeed ruined it. What made me like this version is that the Monkey Throwing Paint in the level is also singing in this soundtrack and they removed it in the N. Sane trilogy soundtrack.
