The slower boulder is actually a feature that was in the original aswell. Its part of the DDA (Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment) System (which is also what eventually gives you AkuAku masks if you die too much on a single checkpoint)

Very true and good spot. In this game though it's spread across all three games, but in the original the algorithm was introduced in Crash 2, it was in the boulder and bear levels, but not in Crash 1 boulder levels

while it was in the original - it was not nearly as bad as it is here. The remake has made many parts of the game a bit easier, but for those used to the old game the bit sloppier controls are a horror.

In Crash one in this remake, when you beat Ripper Roo. And land on a TNT box, Crash will do his victory animation there. If timed correctly the TNT box will then slide away from under your feet, killing Crash while celebrating, causing you to have to retry the boss. That's what ended my up to that point flawless playthrough...

In Heavy Machinery I got Crash to fall without dying and the lighting to bug out (it's the bridge of boxes that has a small hump on the center was well as 4 Crates spaced apart below). Looked like one of those really bad LittleBigPlanet levels

Encountered the same glitch, but my experience with it was somewhat different. I don't remember the game becoming brighter, but when I got "stuck" instead of dying, I discovered I was on some kinda platform in the background and I could both move a little through the stage and backwards. At first I thought I was stuck but then I eventually died while going backwards. Funny thing is, I don't know if this was my only death or not, but I did die in the stage, yet I got the Gem when I cleared it 0.0So either the glitchy death didn't count, or it messed the entire lv up lol.

My tip for the life farming on Bee-Having: Use the second hive, and always break the box right in front of it. Then when you inevitably die due to wrong timing with the spins, run all the to the second hive and keep breaking the box. Eventually the game will replace the box with a checkpoint. Which will allow you quick access back to the hive for more farming.

Something odd I recently found was in Crash 1’s first hog riding stage, where I ran into an obstacle right at the end, and the death animation managed to land Crash on the end and finish the level. Better yet, this made Crash stand slanted on the victory screen.

I found this glitch in the Jaws of Darkness level. When I reached the normal bonus level warp pad, it's right next to the box containing the final Tawna token, so when I collected the token, I've managed to phase right through the warp pad while teleporting. However, while I did warp to the bonus level, the camera was suddenly locked at the same area the warp pad is in, and the dark overcast of the level disappeared to be replaced with the lighting of the bonus stage. I've discovered this by accident because I was only try to get the box gem in the level, but if you do make a part 2 video about this game's glitches, try it out and include it in if possible.

I found something kinda freaky: In N.Tropy’s fight,when he gets tired memorize the pattern of platforms. Hit him and get to the other side behind N.Tropy before he gets there and it’s kinda funny. But you will die once he gets tired again for some reason.

There is also a glitch in the PS4 Warped, when you play "Bye Bye Blimps". If you manage to finish the last zeppelin at the same time as your health reaches 0%, you won't get the crystal despite it being shown, and when you retry, you'll lack any screen info (health, direction) and you can olny fly forward.

I was playing Dino Might today and I was going for the regular gem, and I was at the last part with the dinosaur where it chases you to the goal. We were watching my brother play Crash Bandiccot 1 in the "N.Sane Trilogy", I think it was in the level 'Heavy Machinery', and he somehow ended up getting bounced through the wall and stuck 'behind' the level. At first we thought he'd glitched through the wall and died, but then the game just carried on letting him play and you could hear Crash jumping and spining as usual and the camera was still following his movements, but you couldn't see Crash on-screen and he was just stuck behind the walls of the level. Also weirdly enough once Crash got 'stuck' it changed the lighting of the level and made it much brighter than usual - getting rid of all the darkness and shadows effects that the 'machinery' levels have. It looked pretty cool actually.

One glitch that I found out years later (for the insane trilogy version of Crash Bandicoot) there’s a way to glitch your way into the walls if the stages Jungle rollers, I think upstream or Rolling Stones, and boulders. Keep on playing the games as you do normally and see those 2 Crushers? Well now you have to hit the hotbox for those crusher objects + the walls at the same exact time. This might just be a tiny flaw and I experienced this glitch in my walkthrough or the game and I thought this was a bit weird but be careful whenever you’re checked out this glitch as If you do it for too long well let’s just say that thing won’t end well for you and Crash/Cocoa him or herself. “Also sorry for the brief misspellings, I think those were most likely typos than anything really. “ Don’t think about it it’s fine 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊

The boulder going slower is intentional - part of a "Sliding difficulty" scale, where the game gets easier if you die a lot of times.

The video is awesome. At the beginning, I believe the boulder slowing down is an intentional difficulty adjustment and not a glitch. It is interesting how the developers are changed but still there are high number of glitches in both the original and the remaster. This is probably due to the nature of this particular type of platforming which is unique to the bandicoot nature. It makes it prone to glitches especially if enough testing wasn’t conducted.
