To adjust the roster a bit, intstead of creating Rilla Roo I would’ve put Komodo Moe as a playable character given Joe was playable without Moe in CTR, and Moe shares a similar body type to Dingodile. As for the Komodo Bros boss replace them with N Tropy and a time dublictae. What if Crash Bash takes place before Crash 1? (Not my idea btw) Aku Aku ends up imprisoning Uka Uka, and then Uka Uka gets released in Crash 3? Maybe time travel has something to do with the fact that Crash was still mutated, Aku Aku took Crash from 1 dimension or time period, whilst Uka Uka did the same with Cortex. Just a theory.

I think that nobody knows really... Including developers haha :D Bandipedia: The Ancients are mentioned in Crash Bash by Aku Aku and in the Wrath of Cortex in the instruction manual, and, considering the fact that Aku Aku is a floating mask, that gives the possibility that they have the same general appearance. The Wrath of Cortex manual also states that the Ancients were powerful enough to inprison the Elementals forever unless awoken. Aku Aku stated in Crash Bash that him and Uka Uka had promised to the Ancients that they would never fight again, but, it is unknown why they fought in Warped, which was placed two years before that game. So possibly this promise was made in between games.
