+allen whisper If I may, yes this lazer does all alignment procedures from start to finish... soft foot wizzard and this information is just 1 "option" in the menu... Soft foot as stated should be checked very first as part of your pre alignment checklist...this equipment does your alignment he was just showing one "option" in the menu.... And these machines are priced for the purchase of contractors and company's, keep in mind wether you purchased one or not., the client is STILL going to require you to use there equipment for aligning there equipment... any more they rarely let you even use your own precision tools ( 98's, indicators, mic's, ect) and provide a set of theres which they have documented and for insurance purposes have decided that this was the best way to fast track accountability.... Far too many people now buy certain tools at a pawn shop and think there acceptable but in the field they learn that they have not been calibrated in years, ect.... Its just a better game plan for the client in recieiving verifiable data from the field..I am not talking about ALL plants or facilitys... just majority anymore..

boy soft foot wizzard just takes ALL the thinking out of this craft...its good in a practical sense for the client... but where does this leave the millwright apprentice or journeyman when the lazer is not around... Thank God we still have apprenticeship's in this country
