The current design flaw involves the direct attachment of the lower part to the engine instead of the frame, increasing vulnerability during a crash. This setup exposes the engine to potential damage, transferring impact forces directly to the engine and mounts. The engine is a stressed member and safe inside the bike chassis. Adding the lower part is like extending your arm out of a bus window. To address this issue, consider modifying the design to retain only the top half of the crash guard. This adjustment aims to enhance crash safety by allowing the frame to absorb impacts rather than transmitting them directly to the engine.

bhai bhaut deeply samjhaya hai mere pass ktm ki adventure me ye soch raha hu ki carsh guard lageye ya nhi mene abni duke 200 me after marlet carsh guard install kiye the accident ke time meri bike me us time per damage nhi dikha lakin mere bike ka crash guard engin mount per attached tha to meri bike ka carsh ke baad bike ke engine se coolent leak ho gya or us carsh guard ki wajha se engine ko open karna padha phir oe 12000 ka cost aya alag se phir mene adventure purchase kari hai 1 year phle me ye soch raha hu crash guard lagna chiye ki nhi ........
