The career of William "Bill" Conrad in radio is truly amazing and this story is just another example of his multiple talents. The people they end up living with in Mexico are truly individuals one would NEVER want to have help anyone! I wonder if such places do exist in Mexico?

It's Mexico...all sorts of 'people' besides the decent Mexicans down there. No law, no honest government, total corruption in the police, army, etcetera.... Sort of like a lot of places, but in Spanish, of a sort.

Sort of reminds me of Orson Welles, Bette Davis, Janet Leigh, and Charleton Heston in Touch of Evil... Great script and William Conrad is so dependable as an actor, radio voice, or narrator. Forget the TV nonsense. This guy was very talented.

Tsnore Yeah, I like these "adventure" type episodes. I think I have to admit that as good as Suspense is, I like Escape better. Also, thanks for putting my programs in your playlists. It's helping my channel get noticed, adding 40 or 50+ views to each show. Now that YooToob has changed it's rules on me (I had already quailified for monetizing, and was preparing for it. I need the income) I now have to get 1000 total subscribers. I based my goals on their old rules, and I expected on slow growth because of SO MANY other Old Time Radio channels. But I DID NOT plan on them changing the rules and pulling the rug out from underneath me. To say I'm disappointed and discouraged is an understatement. I don't think I'm going to give up, because I have a (small but loyal) bunch of subscribers. Thanx for your help & comments. - Charlie

I've always liked Escape more than Suspense. I can't figure out why the Escape episodes don't get the number of views like my Suspense uploads. After over a year with this channel it's finally getting noticed. Now 275,000 views! As always, thanks for your patronage and comments - Charlie

@@SuspenseESCAPEremastered yeah I like the Escape because it's always an adventure theme most of the time. I love both series but I'm not into the murder cases in which a husband and wife is involved usually. Those tend to bore me but ones like this where it involves some type of treasure or some high seas something like that always Peaks my interest
