Kotor 1 and 2 are my favourites games of all time. If you're a big Star Wars fan and RPG enthusiast, you'll love these games. If you really like this game and plan to play the next one (Kotor 2), I highly recommend you to install a mod called "TSL Restored Content Mod" or TSLRCM. The mod doesn't just restore cut content due the fast development of the game, but also fixes a lot of bugs, allowing to complete certain missions that are impossible to complete in the base game due to bugs.

@CrazyIsVengeance Kotor 2 is my favourite. But don't misunderstand me, Kotor 1 is amazing, it have a rich story about a journey to different planets discovering things (not gonna say much to avoid spoilers). Kotor 2 is more introspective, the journey is about yourself and your connection with the force. Is very philosophical, about the sith, the jedi and the force. Also, it have better villains in my opinion. That's why a liked more than Kotor 1. However, I don't believe that one is better than the other, both have a great story. If you like more exploration, then Kotor 1 is your choice. Do you like more philosophical and introspective journeys? Then Kotor 2 it is. I believe that this different aspects makes these games so great. Both tells you a completely new story, with new characters and no ties with the events of the movies (something that Disney apparently can't do).
