Not at all. No blown-out tire... Unfortunately she closed the right hander too much and collided with the low wall (or perhaps a stone near its base). Precisely for this reason, afterwards she went to see the point of impact... to understand what she had hit and broken the front right suspension.

Quattro was heavy compared to light Lancias and others.... I looked at replay on 0.25 playback speed... zoomed in and looks (and sounds) like she clipped kerbing (that's just out of sight) on car's front right (Fabriza's /co-driver side), which would be awkward for placing the heavy /less nimble (but more powerful) Quattro as viewed from her left side driver's position.... ... From stage results she was on stage 11, but had been in second position on earlier stages where 3 Quattros ( Stig, Michèle and Hannu) led the Lancia 037's... ... On other stages (tighter twisty ones) the Lancias were 1,2,3, while Quattros got same 1,2,3 stage times on stages with less short left-rights.....which also suited the Renault 5 Turbos (like in Corsica)...{before the Delta S4 /Quattro Sport/Métro 6R4/Peugeot 205 T16 days of Madness...} Speaking of which ....check out 'amjayes' short video (with great choice of music) titled " Group B Monsters - Days of Madness"... .... ....to think this woman (and her amazing co-driver Fabriza) finished runners up overall in 1982...Michèle's father died as she was doing final rally to decide championship....saw her in '85 at our local Circuit of Ireland rally on 3 stages ( one where she led (Tyrella)).....that was first time we'd witnessed the' new' Peugeot 205 T16 in action....of which Michèle would leave Audi to drive for in final year of group B....(Although she'd kick Bobby Unser's ass at Pikes Peak in '85 winning with new record in the Quattro)...
