OOOOHHHHH this music brings back memories. I like this game better than mariokart for several reasons. 1) It has a plot. 2) All the characters are awesome 3) It has bosses, and achievements 4) All the mario characters are annoying (xept dry bones) 5) YOU CAN MOVE AROUND OUTSIDE OF A RACE!!!

***** I enjoy watching tough gamers like him own the games like a God. It makes it watchable to me IMO. I try really hard not to die in videogames that I play b/c I don't want to waste the viewers time, but there IS editing. I want to do LP's in the future, but I don't know how to get started. Hell, this game is better than Mario Kart 64 IMO. I downloaded it for the Wii 2 years ago, and it pissed me off so fucking hard with the shitty rubberband AI.

haha thanks man :) yh sometimes it does take a while to get back into all the drifting again but yes you are right there m8 it does take a bit of practicing then eventually you will get the hang of it trust me.. and hmm well that might depend on which character your playing as like Crash for EX he is basically average at everything where as Tiny is more harder to use But he has the best Top Speed so what id recommend is try using Crash for a while and keep practicing with your drifting :)

I have bought almost all the best ps1 games that sony (well naughty dog and insomniac) have ever made. I have all the spyros and I just bought crash 2,3 and ctr. Me and my best friend used to play the heck out of this game. cant wait to get back into the hang of this game. =D

You can drift by turning to the left or right and holding the R1 button. While drifting you can press the L1 button when the drift bar is red to get a boost. But you can only do it 3 times in a row. If you do it more than 3 times than you lose control of the car. I hope this information helped you.

I don't know what to say... you play so damn good its unnatural, motivating and demotivating at same time. I won N.Tropy but that was 10 years ago now I suck and can't do it anymore. I did all in row until Cortex Castle, I couldn't even get N.Tropy to race me there and I used shortcut all time. Any tips maybe? I do powersliding, but I do it so clumsy... guess I just need practice? :P You got Crash 1,2 and CTR, why not 3rd? Anyway, subbed ;).

thanks m8 and yes you can play as all the bosses apart from Oxide which is the last boss but yh to unlock them you have to win all of the coloured gems near the end of the game :)

Seriously? This track and the AI are set on Easy difficulty in the Adventure mode, which means that even if he does not use the boost slide, he still wins by a landslide. Slide boosting is a integral part of the game, if you believe that is cheating.. get the F outta here ;)

Just a question, did you practice techniques such as "Sacred Fire", "Ultimate Sacred Fire", "Froggy" etc or did you become so good with experience and practice? Well I passed adventure mode 100% with Crash, now I use Fake Crash for practice. I read that you can't unlock Oxide but you only get scrapbook if you beat him in all time trials. Lets hope its not true :(

You will have to win each race in time trial 3 times for Oxide. First time you'll race alone and if you do good enough you can race the same stage against N.Tropy. If you beat N. Tropy you can race against Oxide in that stage. If you beat N.Tropy in EACH race you win him, same with Oxide. I won N. Tropy but Oxide was too hard for me, didn't even beat him in one race. He has faster kart than any other and uses ALL shortcuts. If you decide to try it out, please let me know how it went :).

Download a Playstation 1 Emulator and a ROM copy of Crash team racing. It's not illegal since you own the physical disc of the actual game. It's allowed to own an ISO, rom etc of a game for private use
