Crash Team Racing - Komodo Joe (Boss)

This is me playing Crash Team Racing for the Playstation. This game is probably the best cart racing game I've played. But that aside, I figured I'd upload the boss races as I do them. The third boss race is against Komodo Joe. This guys a joke to race against. I pretty much embarrased him.
Note: These boss vidoes were done on my first try. If you notice, once you beat the 4th race of a world, the boss confronts you BEFORE you race him once, which is what I have in the video. So don't comment that you think you're so much better or that I suck at the game just because I happen to have a bad run. If you're much better, upload a video, otherwise you're probably either lying or just stupid.

I love it how he always goes 'slow down!!!' and he doesn't realise that to catch up we'll need to stop for like a minute. i destrroyed him too, with Pura :)

Looking back at these boss videos makes me wish there was a scene after you beat Oxide that shows your player in front of all the other bosses and your character says, "In your face, bitch!"

That turn seems to get him. It is rather hard to do a sharp turn and jump like heck to get that TNT off.

I remember playing this game when I was like 8 years old and I loved it, it was absolutely great and all the secrets and bosses, so much nostalgia!! I remember when I got onto the mine cart tracks and rode on them for a while until a mine cart drove me over... :)

Well first, to powerslide, jump and hold R1 and hold the analog stick to either side. Keep holding R1, and then press L1 when your car's smoke goes black, or when the bar in the bottom right turns red. This can be done three times in one powerslide.

Another correction... Komodo is like Crash/Cortex, and Pinstripe is like Coco/N.Gin.. other than that, you have it correct. I've tested it, lol. (Had them all race on straightaways on multiplayer one day when I was bored to tell who they were like, and Pinstripe has Coco/N.Gin's acceleration, Komodo Joe doesn't)

It's funny how after playing Mario Kart 8 and then playing the (need I say perfect) remaster of this that it feels like Nintendo started copying the idea of hitting the drift button just before going airborne to land with a boost years after to disconnect where that idea could've stemmed from.

Lol, I have to correct you(I´m not arguing, you can find it). Ripper Roo has same stats as Polar/Pura, Pinstripe like Crash/Cortex, Papu like Tiny/Dingo, Komodo like Coco/Gin and Penta on Pal version, he has everything on maximum but in US version he has exact same stats as Polar and Pura:P

You can create another psn id european or japanese so you can go in the european or japanese playstation store. However if you have the original copy of the game it works also on ps3( i have pal80gb and it reads ps1 games).
