I miss the old adventure mode character select. It was such a cool and creative way to do a menu and had so much personality to it, the Nitro Fueled version is simple and generic in comparison. I can understand using the menu that they came up with for Nitro Fueled mode, too many characters and such, but why didn't they remake the garages from the original for classic mode? Such a missed opportunity. The only other real nitpick I have with the game is that there's no way to alter the AI aside from difficulty. Would have been nice if there were a few different options to choose from for the AI racers. Here's what I could think up: 1. Classic (Same as Classic mode) 2. Nitro Kart (Same idea as Classic, but including only characters and karts that appeared in Nitro Kart) 3. Hybrid (Characters from CTR use their Classic defaults, but also has Nitro Kart characters in their Nitro Kart defaults) 4. Expanded (Same as Hybrid, but includes all the new characters added to the game using their default vehicle) (Example: Spyro in the Spyromobile) 5. Nitro Fueled (The randomization that is enabled by default outside Classic mode in the current version of the game) 6. Progressive Expanded (Same as Expanded, but characters and karts only appear as you unlock them) (Example: Ripper Roo cannot appear as an enemy racer outside his boss race until after you have beaten his boss race and unlocked him) 7. Progressive Nitro Fueled (The same as Nitro Fueled, but characters and karts are only randomized based on what the player has unlocked)

It'd be nice to have them, but I can see why they removed them. It worked fine when you could only choose between 8 characters for adventure mode. Not so much when there are 56.

TheMoonRover I mean yeah true but when talking about the main 8 characters right from the jump they definitely should have been there because that would be in the standard adventure mode and not nitro fueled adventure mode where you could switch characters.
