The "Umbra" skin for me, at least, it's a reimagination of a Dark Spyro skin

Update: I did some research of what it's a Umbra, and it's the darkest and deepest shadow of the Moon in a Eclipse, so maybe I'm not that wrong about it.

They couldn't be bothered giving us a Dark Spyro? Or even a skin based on Legendary Spyro from Skylanders? Now I'm more convinced than ever that they are trying to erase the work done by studios in the mid-2000's.

At least there are Skylanders references in Rumble, including on Spyro’s charging moveset. Probably don’t want to carter too much. We also got nods back in Nitro Fueled and Crash on the Run with Dark Spyro, so it wasn’t too long ago, even if it was done by different devs.

I'd say Umbra is a reference to Dark Spyro.

He feels quite rushed. They didn’t even bother to give him a proper moveset but just copied his platformer attacks. The animations are also a bit janky at some points, and especially his skins are so basic (the lv 15 skin is just black Spyro literally) that it shows. That ripto was the only character in season 2 and season 3 now has 2 characters convinces me that they rushed more. But I’m not surprised, the game is dying more and more, they needed something quick to bring players back or bring in new ones.

And it's also weird given that Spyro already had a gameplay suitable to this game through Skylanders. So why didn't they just apply that here? Like what they did with N. Brio being a Pop Fizz clone. How can they drop the ball with a character that was already designed for this game in retrospect?

So, would that make him bottom tier as a Scorer? If so, that's terrible. It's like Corporate IP Sabotage. On a side note, who's top tier as a Scorer by default (no using Non-Scorers as a Scorer)?

@@X2011racer Tawna since the buffs I think. She’s pretty strong in combat plus has really good mobility and collecting speed. Spyro is so broken though right now that he’s actually the strongest scorer at the time considering how much damage he does.
