Thank you for watching. Yes, it was a great flight, until I lost it. All back in the air on the 14th. And today's flight was great. Video to come.,

Really making me want a UMX

@@RCDave64 Right. I'm loving the 700-1000mm size right now. I do love flying the Cherokee 1.3m, T-28 1.2m, and the Ranger 1220 too. But the slightly smaller scale is great,

@Stirling_RC_Videos i have a Apprentice STOL S 700mm and enjoy it, but i want flaps, lol

@@RCDave64 The UMX AT and TTE both have flaps. The Conscendo (flaperons or spoilers are possible) and several others don't. The FMS T-28 800mm doesn't have flaps either but I'll likely add them later. I don't think it needs them as much as others think it does. It does land fast but it seems to land pretty well. I just increased the elevator throw to the mid point to help get the nose up during landing.

Great flying, Bruce. Not saying it is, though the same thing mine did when the elevator locked.

Thanks. It was a fun flight until... I don't think it was the elevator locking up. I did have a lockup a few months ago. I replaced the elevator control rod and removed the guide as it was hanging up on it when I checked before closing it up. It then moved fine! Pilot error. The wing and nose are fixed and I flew it again. Such a fun plane.

@@Stirling_RC_Videos MY UMX Timber EVO weighs more in glue and tape than it does foam 😊so I can relate. The first UMX Timber EVO I had did crash because the elevator locked but my TT models, I think I went through three, were all done in by pilot error. The TT and the EVO are both great models.

@@BillKisel I get that. My first UMX TTE go crazy straight up then down in SAFE. SAFE wasn't the issue, the stuck elevator was. It wound up in a tree. It was fairly new and HH helped me out a bit.

@@Stirling_RC_Videos HH had me send in my first Evo after the locked elevator crash and replaced it with a new one. The replacement evo, which is the plane I have now, also had the elevator lock issue. I fixed it myself by lubricating the elevator linear servo with silicone. I worked the servo back and forth through several batteries worth. Each time the elevator would lock up I would free it by wiggling the elevator or control rod. I've had plenty of crashes since then but not do to elevator lock up.
